hi whats peoples opinion on having a chief bridesmaid and maid oh honour
Your wedding your choice. I didn't have a maid of honour but my husband had a best man
I have a maid of honour
I had both..x My Mum was my maid of honour and my niece was my chief bridesmaid..xx
I had a maid of honour - to look after me
And bridesmaid were old enough to look after themselves
I had a MOH as she's my best friend of 20 yrs and I was a bridesmaid for her. I couldn't have asked for anyone better to do it ☺ Louise Whyte xxx
I'm having 2 moh!
I’m having my sister as maid of honour and my best friend as one of bridesmaids along with my niece.. I see them as all equals though and wouldn’t have any other way
I just had bridesmaids, all.treated the same x
I had a maid of honor and a mini bridesmaid that was all xx
Traditionally matron/maid of honour is a married woman a chief bridesmaid is unmarried!! At the of the day it's your wedding you do what you want! Me personally I'm having a matron of honour as my bestie is married and 4 bridesmaids and 1 flowergirl xx
They mean the same thing so I would have one or the other x
I'm having a maid of honour and a bridesmaid but I see them both as equals anyway. I was only going to have a maid of honour because I wasn't sure on numbers to begin with x
Personal choice - i didn’t have either just bridesmaids and 2 flower girls. But my husband had 2 best men x
I have a MOH who is my best friend and my eldest cousin is my chief bridesmaid but I know if I didn’t have them I’d just have bridesmaids and no MOH or chief bridesmaid 😊
I have a man and madam of honoir
I’ve got 5 bridesmaids but couldn’t choose a maid of honour so they are all equal 😂
My 3 girls are my bridesmaid with my eldest walking me down the aisle. My elder two aren't my partners and while the middle has known him as my partner since 4 /5 months old my eldest remembers my first marriage so its especially meaningful she wants to do it
I did that 😊 my little sister wanted to be my maid of honour and I wanted her to, but I knew she couldn't be much help. My best friend has had 2 weddings of her own and is very organised and pro active, so I made her chief bridesmaid 😊 it all worked out and everyone was happy 👍🏻
I'm having 2 moh and my 2 children are walking me down the aisle as my dad passed away last year. I say have your wedding the way you want it. Oh...my 10 year old son thinks he should be called a male escort 😂🤦♀️
Your Wedding your choice. Simple as.
My Maid of Honour is my bestfriend of 6 years, my bridesmaid my fiancé’s sister and Bridesman my best guy friend of gosh nearly 20 years.
Just enjoy your day 🥰
I think that sounds great, if it works for you then go for it ☺️
They are the same thing chief bridesmaid is a British term and Maid of Honour is American same role
I don't have bridesmaids and am having two maids of honour instead. My sister and sister-in-law.
My sister is my maid of honour and she has been a god send at keeping my calm and helping with the big decisions. My other bridesmaid has had a wedding of her own so has been on hand to help my sister if she has needed it. I say you choose who you want x
Anything you like. Xx I have my BFF as my maid of honour and my daugher as my chief bridesmaid. My maid of honour has been there done it and is super organised and my daughter is only 12 so I wanted her to be the most important bridesmaid. X
I haven’t got either just bridesmaid (2sistets, 2 best friends) unless there is a specific reason I wouldn’t choose but if you have specific things that you need them to do then go for whatever makes you happy
I always thought that a maid of honour was a married person. And bridesmaids were single.
I had both x
