I’m due to get married the 14th me and H2B have spoken about it and hopefully we can still go ahead with the registry office and then will just postpone the celebrations for another day. (It means I get to wear the dress of my dreams twice too) x

There is a company who sell them on amazon called beautelicate (think that’s spelt right), in both flower girl size and adult size. I only have the flower girl one but it’s very good quality and free returns so might be worth a try.

I’m due to get married on Saturday, we have managed to postpone for 7th November. X

The hotel we are getting married at on July 31st has now closed. I am keeping fingers crossed that it still might be able to go ahead.

UKbride Member 23 Mar 2020

I get married 25th july and they have told me up to now they are only postponing weddings up until 31st may and that mine still stands. I am not going to change my date unless the government say different. It might be worth an email to your venue to make sure everything is ok to put your mind at ease

I'm getting married on 4th July! Hoping it can still happen. Staying isolated and staying optimistic 🙏🏼 xx

UKbride Member 23 Mar 2020

My wedding venue has cancelled all weddings up to June 30th.
I've postponed until August but would imagine all weddings in July will be going ahead as normal 🤞♥️

My neighbour is a very talented seamstress who is currently studying so her prices are reasonable. She's recently been told that when she finishes her studies, she'll hopefully be working as a costume maker at Disneyland Paris. She made my daughter a unique costume for a party and she was the best dressed there. I can ask her for a price?

I was supposed to be 8th May so we've postponed to November. Our venues were brilliant with rescheduling 😀

UKbride Member 23 Mar 2020

Me to haven't heard anything about cancelling

UKbride Member 23 Mar 2020

I was due to get married on august 8th, my vicar sent us an email saying all weddings after june will be 5 people in the church only and there would be no reading of the bands, we would have to pay extra for a certificate. So weve decided to postpone till next summer when all this is hopefully over xx

UKbride Member 23 Mar 2020

As a wedding venue we have postponed weddings up until 30th June as registrars are only allowing bride, groom & 2 witnesses in the room until end of June. We’re hoping things will be back to normal after this 🤞🏼

I was meant to get married this Sunday but, cancelled due to how serious this situation is. I am honestly devastated as the end was in sight. We now get married 8th Jan next year 🙁. Only plus side is that once this is over everyone will want a damn good drink. Stay safe and hope all of your loved ones make it through the other side of this nightmare 💞

We have ours Dec but I’m praying this is all sorted by then 😬

UKbride Member 23 Mar 2020

Lauren Boshoff some of these guys weddings are still going ahead xxxx

UKbride Member 23 Mar 2020

Hi all I own a bridal shop in Lincolnshire and we have heard it’s not just the venue that might cancel. You need to check with the registrar conducting the wedding as we have heard some have cancelled all weddings until end of August!!!! Might be worth a phone call to the one you will be using.
Hope things all work out for you and if you do need to move the date try and get it sorted ASAP so you can then continue with planning your special day. X

I saw on heart beat it should be easy to make

UKbride Member 24 Mar 2020

I have the full fur gown with hood and muffs. You can buy it from me if you stuck.

UKbride Member 24 Mar 2020

Has anyone been given a reason behind the dates they have been cancelled upto?

UKbride Member 24 Mar 2020

My wedding is currently due to be the same date as yours! Have you been advised by some suppliers to postpone? I'm very much hoping that by that point we should be able to go ahead, but perhaps some elderly/pregnant relatives may not come x

UKbride Member 24 Mar 2020

Sorry let hope it will re open by then
