My H2B wanted a different suit to all the groomsmen. He has now bought his suit it was a check in it. My question is do I pick suits that are the same colour of grey but no check or go completely different but still complement he’s suit? I’m really stressing with this one.. picture of my H2B’s suit.

I'd go light grey or even a blue.

I'd go light grey

UKbride Member 18 Feb 2020

I’d say light grey personally. We are going all the same suit (light grey) but different ties to make my H2B stand out

Light grey I would say but I'd give this over to your H2B and his groom's men. You certainly don't need to stress about it, trust him/them x

I’d go the lighter grey in his suit to match. Xx

Maybe get a grey then get them all the check waist coat to match x

My husband had a suit similar and we have navy blue suits for the groomsman and ushers x

I’d do the classic black with groomsmen grey

UKbride Member 18 Feb 2020

I would have the groomsmen in plain grey but with the same checked waistcoat x

I like that xx

Can I ask where it came from. We want a check suit but can only find trousers and no matching jacket. We want pale grey or silver

My partner got navy blue cheque and the rest plain x

My FH has a very similar suit but in blue and we're just going for plain blue for the groomsmen, no cheque xx

Go with the light grey

UKbride Member 18 Feb 2020

You could get the groomsmen to compliment the bridesmaids. That way you and your H2B stand out from the crowd but there is still a symmetry.

UKbride Member 18 Feb 2020

Wouldn't he pick the suits with the groomsmen?

James William plaid suit? 🤣

Thank you all, think we’re gunna go with lighter grey suits... My H2B and his groomsmen would turn up in football kits if I let them 😂😂 but for the one asking where it’s from it’s Matalan totalled at £115 for the full suit including waistcoat absolute bargain!! X

We haven’t gotten married yet so I don’t have a photo, but my husband to be has opted for a completely different suit to his groomsmen. He chose to have the same colour waistcoat and shoes to tie everyone in
