I haven't yet but I have been looking. As long as you like the dress does it matter where you got it from xx

I bought a dress from Ebay the rrp was over £1500 for the essence of Australia and I got it for just over £100. It's always better to try on dresses first but if you know what your looking for then grab yourself a bargain. You literally wear it for one day so I couldn't justify spending so much.

It’s no ones business where you buy it from so what’s best for you I paid £400 new cash but I wore from 4.30 to 11 pm not long it’s perfect condition not been outside at all as we married in hotel but so what you want xx

I ordered a dress in a wedding dress store. When I went to do my fittings I hated it. I bought a second hand dress from a work colleague and it was the best thing I’ve ever done. I then sold my dress to a lovely girl who had a very different figure to mine and she was over the moon. It was all meant to be!

There's a lot of China fails though that I've seen and loads of fake websites! So I get where you're coming from. Just make sure you Google reviews

Each to their own but I wouldn’t, not with any clothing unless it was unworn. I, however wouldn’t judge those that would.

My best friend found her dream dress about a year ago in a shop and couldn’t afford it at the time. She then found the exact same dress that a lady was selling for £650 less.

I found a brand new dress from wed 2 be on eBay, in the shop was £600 I got it for £300 also came with all the tags still on

I got mine off ebay for 50 quid it is perfect although now needs to be taken in x

I would avoid China, but otherwise see no real issue, better if you can go and try it. A lot of bridal shops sell off dresses on Ebay, I bought mine like that. I bought a bigger size and had it altered to fit saved me a fortune xx

I bought mine from ebay. RRP was well over £1000 and I paid £450 with postage fees. I knew the second I saw the picture it was the one, it fits perfectly and doesn't even need altering. I think it was fate ❤

I bought mine second hand from Facebook market place it cost me half what it would of been new and had been cleaned by the previous owner. I might just have to take a bit of the length of depending what shoes I buy 😁

I bought a 2nd hand one, it was beautiful just didn't fit.

I’ve just bought mine new from jjshouse. I went to a bridal shop tried loads of different styles on and the one that I wanted was £1300! I found very close to the dress on jjshouse for £237 including delivery. It’s yet to arrive but I’ve read thousands of reviews as I was a bit sceptical so hopefully it’s as perfect as I’ve imagined x

Got my wedding dress from eBay and besides some sizing alterations it's completely perfect! 😊

UKbride Member 8 Jan 2020

I found mine on eBay, paid a bargain £65 and with the money saved I was able to have it altered exactly as I wanted to. If you know what you want then I highly recommend! Allows you to have the dress of your dream without the price tag! X

I bought my dress from a charity shop. It had never been worn as ex display from a boutique and is immaculate. I just couldn't bring myself to pay £1000 for a dress I'd wear once. It's so beautiful and I haven't seen one like it anywhere. Oh and I paid £100 for it! Bargain of a lifetime.!

Somewhere i saw an Oxfam shop that only stocks wedding dresses, some are second hand but most are factory seconds or last season left overs. I often see wedding dresses in charity shops, the cancer research in Cov has a whole rack of them at the back of the shop. I have seen a few on Facebook, but most are the same price or more as you could pay for a new one in wed2be.

I bought mine second hand off ebay 1500 dress £50 also bought another for night time for £40 from asos as didnt want the big bulky dress for night time x

UKbride Member 8 Jan 2020

Yep!. My wedding dress cost £25 from ebay. and looked just like one that would cost over a grand.
I was over the moon with it lol
I'd recommend any bride to be (esp if she's broke like me) to deffo look on ebay first before parting with an obscene amount of money for the same item. x

I found a picture of the dress I wanted but couldn't actually find anywhere that sold it. I trawled ebay and Facebook market place for months then one day it appeared, my size and in my budget. It was second and but not worn. I asked for loads of pictures and a short video and it's my dream dress 🥰

UKbride Member 8 Jan 2020

Yes I got mine on ebay for £80 it was my dream dress. It was 3rd hand ah least and vintage. I paid £100 to have some alterations done.
