Weight loss

Hi! I get married next year (soon to be this year!) and want to lose weight for my wedding. Iโ€™d like to lose a stone in 4 months, any tips/advice? I know healthy eating and exercise but has anyone tried anything that worked to help the process? Thank you! X

The Facebook group Team RH Fat Loss is brilliant alongside my fitness pal app x

Donโ€™t take on any stupid diets or fad stuff. Clean eating, exercise, avoid sugar, avoid carbs. A good one is white meat and green veg only.

UKbride Member 7 Jan 2020

Cut sugar & processed foods to an absolute bare minimum. Exercise regular and drink lots of water :) x

I lost 2 stone over the past 6 months on slimming world...hoping to lose another 2 before my wedding in June x

I looked at portion sizes, I certainly didn't realise how oversized my portions were. A portion of each food group is the size of you palm, and a meal should fit in both your palms ๐Ÿ˜ฒ That alongside making healthy choices for breakfast and lunch I lost 19lb before Christmas! (and put it back on over Christmas ๐Ÿ˜‚)

UKbride Member 7 Jan 2020

Slimming world it drops off you x

The people advising slimming world I 100% recommend. I have lost 4 and a half stone over a year and a half now. At the start it comes off really quite quickly. I would still advise exercising too to keep you fit :)

UKbride Member 7 Jan 2020

Juicing/smoothies helped me i lost 10kg in a few months. X

UKbride Member 7 Jan 2020

Team RH is brilliant! I've tried everything and this is the only one that I've been able to maintain my weight loss with (1.5 stones) as it teaches you properly about calories and what you can actually eat (everything!) Xx

UKbride Member 7 Jan 2020

My fitness Pal is a great app to watch what your eating and be aware of calories

Cut out carbs no bread pasta potatoes drink water only x

I did intermittent fasting and it worked really well for me :) I lost 2 stone and managed to keep it off too. You eat for 8hours and fast for 16 and just have the recommended calorie intake for your day! Drinking lots of water as well

UKbride Member 7 Jan 2020

https://thebloodsugardiet.com/ THE BLOOD SUGAR DIET!! My family SWEARS by it! Similar concept to Keto but less harsh. You can loose a stone in a month easy! Not only does it help weight loss but addresses eating patterns (after 2 weeks of sticking to it, you dont get hungry as much etc), improves energy levels, makes you skin better, hair grows healthier/longer...its fab!

My hus lost 5 stone since September just by exercising and eating right.. And by exercise I mean 40 miles a day on his bike!

UKbride Member 7 Jan 2020

Calorie counting and moving more. Take a look at www.jamessmithacademy.co.uk
I also had to shred for the dress! Xx

UKbride Member 7 Jan 2020

Keto diet

UKbride Member 7 Jan 2020

Portion control really worked for me. I canโ€™t do diets, cos once you slip youโ€™re gonna slip hard.. So I ate what I normally eat but in smaller amounts and more regularly. So eat on a small plate instead of a regular plate, and that helps to cit down your portions.

I used Ashley Crooks Fitness and learnt how to lose weight, tone up and keep the weight off ๐Ÿ’ช

Highly recommend Slimming World, Iโ€™ve lost 3.5 stone in 5 months and aiming to lose another 1.5 before August which should be achievable on their plan!

In 6mnts i lost 3.5 stone with slimming world for my wedding after having a baby, just started again as just had my 2nd ๐Ÿ˜Š

UKbride Member 7 Jan 2020

Keto. I lost 3.5 stone in 4 months

UKbride Member 7 Jan 2020

Best sustainable way is to use a calorie tracker like my fitness pal and keep within a calorie defecit, this way your not restricting yourself from anything you're just being conscious of how calorific certain food can be. You can pair this with intermittent fasting if you want results quicker but that's not for everyone. Also try get some exercise in even if it's 10000 steps a day! ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿ˜Š

I joined JSA (James Smith Academy) and it was the best thing I ever did. I now know how to diet in a healthy way and use the gym and excersise with confidence. There is sooooo much information and there are even modules on exactly why women hold weight differently to men and exactly how our menstrual cycles affect weight gain and loss. I won't lie, he's not adverse to colourful language but if you don't mind a no BS approach then he's the man for you. You can find him on all social media under @jamessmithpt The academy is the best ยฃ9 a month I ever spent but a lot of his modules are also on social media for free.

Iโ€™ve tried various things and have struggled to stick at them as felt like I was missing out. Iโ€™m calorie counting using an app called nutracheck and itโ€™s worked brilliantly! Weight loss is maintainable and happens gradually x

UKbride Member 7 Jan 2020

Terri Ann 123 diet plan. You can find it on Facebook, its a one off fee of around ยฃ20 full support, tips, recipes and more, I lost a stone in just under 2 weeks, it focuses mainly on clean eating, detoxing and maintaining weight after reaching your personal loss goal xxx

UKbride Member 7 Jan 2020

Slimming world or download the app my fitness pal and calorie count ( I lost 3st doing that) x

UKbride Member 7 Jan 2020

Search your BMR to work out how many calories to eat so you are on a maintenance level then decrease by about 100-200 cal using my fitness Pal and up the exercise gradually so you tone and keep a shape

UKbride Member 7 Jan 2020

I used Herbalife and lost a stone and a half in 2 months! Back on track after Xmas and planning to drop 2 dress sizes before my wedding in june! X

Slimming World! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป

UKbride Member 7 Jan 2020

100% slimming world. I get married this july and went to a wedding fayre last march (2019) and ended up booking an appointment to go look at some dresses. I found my dream dress but then panicked because i wasnt the weight i wanted to be. The dress shop said they would take my measurements with a deposit and i was to go back in december for a final measurement before they ordered the correct size. Anyway, i joined slimming world in july 2019 and come december 2019 i had lost 3.5stone before i went back to get measured again. Im still on my journey though as i chose i dress size smaller ๐Ÿ˜ฎ so another 2 stone to go ๐Ÿคฃ but i definately 100% recommend slimming world x

UKbride Member 7 Jan 2020

I used a C9 to kickstart, refresh and reboot, losing 7.5lbs and inches in 9days ...then continued with healthy eating with WW meetings. I will continue with WW and maybe do another C9 if I need to regroup again!
Congratulations and I hope you find what works for you x

UKbride Member 7 Jan 2020

5:2 diet ๐Ÿ˜Š

UKbride Member 7 Jan 2020

I did Slimming World. Now been a target member for almost 2 years. It's so important to not have the mindset that its just for the wedding, slimming world is a lifestyle choice xx

UKbride Member 7 Jan 2020

Keto. Fastest way to drop weight. Only do keto with real food though not with lighter life or tablets. They will make you ill and put you off
Good luck. I lost 4 stone in 18 months for my wedding. Felt a million dollars as will you ๐Ÿ˜€

UKbride Member 8 Jan 2020

UKbride Member 8 Jan 2020

Magnesium and vit b12 supplements. Keep your energy levels up and sugar/carb cravings at bay :)

UKbride Member 10 Jan 2020

Slimming world is the best. Healthy and realistic. I've lost 3 stone so far in 10.5 months.

Also, it's not a diet. You can keep the weight off forever if you think of it as a lifestyle change instead.

UKbride Member 10 Jan 2020

Slimming world. Lost 2 stone in 4 months after my 1st child. Had my 2nd last May and now keen to lose around the same ready for my wedding in August x
