Wedding dresses

Hi all. Has anyone order a wedding dress from JJs house? I’ve seen reviews for bridesmaids but I’m wondering about wedding dresses. I don’t want to spend a ridiculous amount of money but also don’t want to end up looking a bit cheap and tacky. Any advice is greatly appreciated!!

I ordered my dress from that site and it’s actually really lovely. I was worried about the quality but was pleasantly surprised

I read their reviews on trust pilot and it's put me off. I was very tempted to order from them but now very wary 🤔

I ordered a wedding dress from here & I was surprised at the quality as was also wary after reading the reviews. However, I decided I wanted to look at different styles so went to a shop to try dresses on, this did highlight the material on jjs dress was a lot lower quality as I found the lace was very itchy compared to the shop dress. Bt the cost difference between the dresses was quite significant so it does seem you get what you pay for.

I got mine from there and love it. It doesn't look like a cheap dress and feels brill. Fits perfectly. Saved me a small fortune.

Bought mine from there, made to measure for under £200, saw exactly the same dress in a shop for £4000, couldn’t tell the difference at all, also bought our flower girl dresses from there!!

I would recommend wed2be. My daughter got her dress from here and also the bridesmaids dresses too

I've just ordered a dress in a standard size cos you can return it (opposed to custom sizing). I've read nothing but good things about them. I chatted to their customer service team for a while before ordering (about returning) and they couldn't have been more helpful! I'll have to let you know what it's like when it arrives!

I've heard bad reviews from JJs House for bridesmaids dresses (from a freind) but not on their wedding dresses. I got my dress from Wed2Be which is affordable and good quality.

Does anyone else find the delivery charges high?i saw a pair of shoes I liked £42 the delivery charge was something like £24

I haven’t heard great things about jjs house. If you don’t want to break the bank, checkout web2b. I got my wedding dress from there for £600 and I loved it so much! So much choice! x

I ordered my wedding dress from there was lovely

UKbride Member 6 Jan 2020

I got bridesmaid dresses they were perfect

Very mixed reviews and if you’re not happy, it’s virtually impossible to get your money back. I would suggest ordering months in advance incase it’s awful and make sure you use PayPal so you are protected to get your refund x

Honestly I went to David's Bridal in Watford, expecting the prices to be extortionate... And walked away with a beautiful wedding dress that cost £420 😁 and I got to try it on! Xx

I ordered mines from there and was really disappointed, just didn't look like the picture did and as it was made to measure I couldn't return it. Had to buy a different dress from somewhere else xx

Red carpet ready nr Lincoln look at their website brilliant dresses!

Try www.stillwhite.com it’s a website where women sell their dresses.often they are unworn as they are the dresses that they bought and then didn’t go for preferring other styles or it’s their wedding dress worn once , genuinely you have all the designers and ranges at a fraction of the price if you are ok with that !!!!! I don’t know why more people don’t know about it .

Depending on where you are Townhouse bridal in Bedford is great all dresses £800 or less :)

Don’t do it got my mams dress from there as mother of the bride, it was horrible material looked nothing like the photos and didn’t fit right then had a faf on sending it back, sent it signed for got confirmation that they had signed for it and they tried to tell me they hadn’t received it.
