Out of season is usually cheaper, October-November and January-March, but then you risk the weather being crappy, and you have to put more consideration into what time you wed because of lighting for photography. I'm getting married May 1st 2021 because I love Springtime. Maybe pick your favourite season and work from there 😊x

We chose March, because the price was £2000 cheaper before 1st of April new tax year, it all depends if you have a budget or not, and where you want to get married really. Ours will all be set in a local Manor House/hotel, so I don’t really need the weather to that good (wales, you can never judge the rain).

I had a November wedding, right at the end so Christmas just begins but still not in the stressful time of Christmas. Our hotel had all the decoration up and it was just magic! I wouldn't change it for the world xx

We have gone July and saturday. Expensive..! But I woukdnt change it. Not sure if you are uk, but one thing to bear in mind is if it is in the school holidays your honeymoon will be much more expensive of you have one. We are having a midweek 3 day break locally after the wedding then getting a late deal early September when the kids go back to school!.

We based our wedding on a date that is significant to the both of us. For instance, we chose 28th August as when we first met I told him I hadnt celebrated a single anniversary with anyone as they never stuck around for long enough. So if we make it to our 6month anniversary we had to celebrate which happened to be 28th August. I thought he would of forgotten but he hadn't and arrange a beautiful meal out to celebrate.

So when it came to choose a date we both knew it had to be on that date 😊 X

May! It’s outside of “peak” season (June-Sept) but still summery!

We chose the date we got engaged. But we love autumn so that helps. Plus we wanted a honeymoon in autumn

We got married October 26th 2018. It was cold and seriously windy (and rained in the morning before the ceremony) but it was beautiful to have pictures with all the leaves changing colour. I've always liked the idea of a cold weather wedding though 🤷‍♀️ xx

Peak wedding season is May to September if you want to save money packages outside these times are cheaper

We are going for 5th June 2021 as it will be 73 years to the day since my beloved Grandparents married and we are marrying in the same church my h2b's beloved Grandparents married. Sadly none of them are still with us xx

Weve just had our wedding 29th November and it was stunning. Gorgeous sunny day but frosty and cold. Christmas decs were out but not too much. It was just perfect.

We got married 18th of October this year, I love autumn and Halloween so it was the perfect choice and I love a crisp autumn day 🎃

You could choose a date that is special to you. Summer is always popular. If you have another favourite season go for that. I always liked the idea of a winter wedding but my fiance disagreed cos we both have winter birthday. We went for Spring cos there is the chance of sun without it being too hot.

We picked 24th August which is the patron saint day of the village my grandparents lived in (and where we got married). Growing up They never missed the celebrations and I often went with them so we decided on that day so that somehow in our minds they were there with us 🙂 I recommend choosing a date that means something to you both x

We chose the date of us getting engaged 2 years previous in may . If u choose a memorable date to both of you it makes it more special and it doesn't matter what time of year you choose as all weddings can be made special and not expensive. Good luck with your plans x
