#memberrequests I’m struggling with finding a dress for the big day, I’ve easily tried on about 50 dresses. They’re all pretty in their own way, I just havnt felt the ‘love’ - until yesterday, now I’m torn between 2 very different dresses! Ones a little sexy and more flattering, the other elegant and more simple but form fitting crepe. How has everyone else got on, any advice?

I fell in love with 2 different dresses & it wasn’t until they popped me in a vail & tiara that I knew which one was me x

I had picked out two in the very first shop and fell in love with the first one right away so didn’t even bother to try the second xx

I fell in love with the 2nd dress i tried on which wasnt the style originally going for but i felt like a princess with veil and tiara. And then when wore on my wedding day 28.09.19 i felt the same feeling again

Try both on with a veil/tiara and see how you feel. If you are really stuck ask someone who's opinion you value to come with you to try them on again x

Try have your hair/make up done in a similar way you want for your wedding and go back and try them both on again. Sit down in them, have a little dance, walk around see what feels more comfortable for the day. Also imagine going back and 1 of them was discontinued, which one would you be more disappointed not being able to purchase xxx

I tried on loads of dresses. Some i loved but none quite fit right and alterations to make it fit cost about as much as the dress. All in it didn't cost much less than having it custom-made which is what i eventually did. My dress is being made specially for me. Admittedly it has eaten in to my accessories budget but at least my dress will be perfect for me.

When I'd narrowed it down to two, I called one heads and one tails, flipped a coin and then thought if I was disappointed with the result or not! I was, so I went with the other one.

Try them both on again and think about comfort, can you sit down, comfortably eat/drink/use the toilet. Can you walk and dance in them etc as i fell in love with a dress and on my day i felt amazing until it came to partying and although i loved how i looked in my dress if i was to go back in time its the one thing id change about our whole day but then again im a creature of comfort and would have been happy in my pjs 🙈🤣🤣

I know it sounds daft but sleep on it and think about both for a week or so. I was torn but after thinking carefully I knew one was the one and the other I only liked because it was more traditional and more what you imagined when you was little rather than the dress I wanted now x

Put them both on again with your hair, makeup and veil on. With each one walk, sit down and dance! Which one is comfortable? Also think about your photos on display in your home...is one more timeless that you would still feel in love with on display after 20 years??

Dependent on length have both an evening dress and ceremony dress you can have pictures in both and be a princess 👑

I fell in love with mine online. I spent hours on Pinterest and instagram until I found one that made me say “Wow” then I searched for a stockist and went to try it on. I’m glad I did as I’m very particular and all the ones that shops were giving me to try weren’t my thing at all xx
