There is usually a way to have both. I had a veil and a hair drape, just had the veil pinned under my hair do instead of over. If you have your hairdresser booked, maybe get in touch and ask their opinion on if your particular hair band and veil could look good together and if they’d recommend a slightly different style to achieve it.

Have both. I’m having a veil and a tiara. I didn’t feel complete trying my dress on without the veil makes you feel like a proper bride

I've got veil and a tiara

I have a veil and tiara. I didn't want a veil but tried one on with the dress and it really just added to it. Had my hair trial the other day and she put my veil kind of in so it draped out rather than over. Looked lovely. There are lots of ways to wear both if you like both. Chat to your hair dresses or look for idea on line/Pinterest 😊

I'm not keen on veils find them really old fashioned and would make me feel old lol...I think a nice head piece would look just fine but it's how you feel better in xx

I had both x

Have both. My mum said most people remove their veil for the reception so wear the veil for the ceremony and photos then exchange it for the reception.

I had a tiara & a veil, mine was half up & half down with curls

I had my hair half up, half down, with a veil for the ceremony, then my MoH helped me take it off and replace it with a crystal and pearl hair comb for the reception.

I like the look of a cape veil but not sure what it will look like with my dress

I'm hoping to have a flower crown/headband and veil :)

You could do your veil from under your hairdo and have a headband too? I personally didnt suit a veil so had flowers clipped just above a low bun but always love an under hairdo veil, if i'd suited it that's how i'd have styled it. OR a local designer here had a detachable tulle cape rather than a veil from her shoulders so it still had the cathedral effect at the back?

I'm having a similar hairstyle to yours and flower crown with veil sawn into the back of it (good trick I've seen online)

I had a tiara and a veil. Looked lovely cuz I kept my tiara on, even after I took off my veil... People said they thought it looked lovely - I guess they need to complement each other in look as well! Both of mine had pearls on them...

Not at all. You can do one for the ceremony and one for the reception if you want to switch it up

I had both had veil from underneath at the back of my hair. X

I had a beautiful hair clip with flowing flowers cascading over my curly bun.
