We had a BBQ at 4 and then we had bacon and sausgae butties about 9ish
We had afternoon tea with a mix of hot food, sandwiches, cakes and scones and curry in the evening
Quarter pounder with fries and then bacon butties and chips on the evening for out menu n December
We had a bbq burgers and hotdogs , pasta, salads, chill and rice and jacket potatoes a decent mixture at a very good price instead of a sit down meal for 70 guests and a Buffett for 150 in the evening still loads of burgers , pasta and bits left over during the day that was kept warm , everyone said how lovely it all was x

Turkey roast main

Evening buffet consisting of cold meat, chips and baps :)
We're having a cold buffet at 4 and then chip butties in the evening about 9. I do love the afternoon tea idea though x
We had a starter of either Leek and Potato soup or Chicken Liver Parfait. Roast Beef/Chicken for main meal and we had our Wedding cake for dessert. X
Pie and mash. Making it a bit fancier by having 3 different flavours of pies
We had leek and potato soup for starter, beef roast dinner for main and chocolate brownies for dessert
We had melon, steak pie and cheesecake. Loads of folk raved about the steak pie as they were bored with bland chicken at weddings. It was also a nod to my grandparents wedding as they had steak pie (made by my great grandfather, who was a master butcher. He even slaughtered the cow himself!)
For evening we had bacon rolls

Sunday roast all the way. You cant go wrong. Mushroom soup, beef and Yorkshire pudding and lemon tart to finish. Simple food for all tastes. Yum!
Lancashire cheese and onion tart (with bacon or without), Chicken Breast with Pecan and Bacon stuffing, rainbow carrots and fondant potatoes/ Butternut Squash and Pumpkin Ravioli with rainbow carrots.
A trio of desserts, sticky toffee pudding, lemon macaron and a peach melba.
Kebab and chips and pizza!

We wanted a 3 course dinner but they wanted us all to have the same no way would my dad eat beef no way would his dad eat chicken so thought fook it went with a hot and cold buffet that way everyone was happy as they chose what they wanted
Soup to start, carvery for main and my homemade puddings. Was the best!!

Cake after the ceremony, afternoon tea, then lasagne and wedding cake in the evening. I am a cake person, I love afternoon tea and my fiance's favourite meal is lasagne. Our wedding is in November, so we wanted to offer a decent meal to our evenings guests.
Our Wedding is in December and on a Sunday so going for a good beef roast, I've even specified the vegs have to be soft (Not fancy hard ones like you get in restaurants), roasties crispy, mash creamy and a giant Yorkie

Fine dining menu. 5 courses..plus canopies for the champagne reception. For the evening though we are going more relaxed with a hog roast.
Curried goat, rice & peas, dumplings etc 😍
3 course meal. Undecided on starter, it’ll probably be soup. Turkey dinner (because it’s Christmas) and then sticky toffee pudding ☺️

We're having canapes for starters, with bbq and dessert buffet and then finger buffet later in the evening - summer wedding :)
We had for starter a choice of tomato and truffle oil soup or Parma ham and melon.
For main we had roast beef from the local farm and for pudding we had a trio of minis....cheesecake, apple crumble and jam and cream on a mini scone.

We've got individual picnic boxes as we are having a June wedding followed by a buffet in the evening
We are having 'normal' food. We are going with soup, roast dinner, theres also a vegetarian option for the vegetarians, we are still deciding for the dessert though
We're having a gourmet pizza van and a cake "shop" rather than a traditional wedding cake.
