Proposing to bridesmaids

Did you / are you proposing to your maid of honour / bridesmaids? If so how are you doing it? I'm going to put boxes together with goodies in but still looking into what I should put in them.

I'm a keen baker so am making some cupcake boxes. planned on asking them with the question on the cupcakes with a toy ring or something similar.

I just asked them.... I like the sentiment of the idea.... but I know I can use that money elsewhere for the wedding! Xxx

Yep. This is what I put in mine as well as a card with a poem asking them, slightly different for my maid of honour as there wasn't as much about with maid of honour on so had to be a bit more creative

I just asked them to. But sent my maid of honour a card from eBay which cost about £3 to ‘tell’ well asked if she would be my maid of honour x

I made them each a bridesmaid bag with a small Yankee candle in ‘wedding day’ scent, a face mask, some lovehearts and a mini bottle of Prosecco. Found some scratch cards on Etsy that popped the question when they scratched the gold circle off

I put a box together too! I put a glass, a mini bottle of bubbly, a chocolate bar, bracelet and card in there 😊 think I spent about £12 on each box and they loved them x

I wrote letters and put one of those bracelets inside the envelope that you tie on xx

I got each one a mini bottle of Prosecco with a mini chambord, some bubbles, a ‘team bride’ bobble and personalised card

I did 3 proposal boxes. I had a budget of about £45 per box. I got some large magnetised boxes online that had 'Team Bride' in gold foil on the top. I then glued an envelope to the top of the inside lid with a card that asked 'Will you be my bridesmaid?' Then inside I put some jewellery for the wedding (earrings and necklaces), a wrist/hair band that said 'bridesmaid', a nail varnish with a wedding name theme (the one in the pic was called wedding cake), a small yankee candle (wedding day scent), a small personalised tote bag, a confetti shooter, a hand cream, small bottle of bubbly, an alcoholic drink flavored lip gloss (champagne and gin and tonic) and some love hearts and choccies. All were very well received! :)

I asked my MOH if she would come with me when trying on wedding dresses, told her to wear her best knickers! she asked why I said you will find out. When we went in the wedding dress I asked her,, would she be my MOH, she burst out crying and hugged me and said yes. Was a lovely moment, been friends for years xx

I bought little charms off eBay for £1.79 for 10. Treaded then through with some waved chord I already had. And just put them in little organza bags with a little card asking and what the role was. Designed them on greetings island and then printed them as pocket sized cards on LALALAB.

I love the idea of boxes for the proposal but we just didn’t have the budget. I’ve bought them all a clutch bag, mirror, necklace, bracelet, pjs and a robe for the wedding morning they will get the night before.

I made these cards for my teenage bridesmaid and little flower girls. Didn't send presents, they will get a thank you gift at the wedding. I didn't bother with cards or anything for my older girls. We've been discussing marriage for years and as soon as i announced the proposal they didn't even need to be asked. I don't have a lot of friends so they knew it would be them.

Added both my besties to a group chat to show them my engagement ring, then after a while I discreetly changes the name of the group to 'Bridesmaids'

I have ordered cards asking/ telling them, then bags with their ‘roles’ printed on them and inside I’m putting a bridesmaid planner book ordered from amazon, pen and bottle of wine to ‘help’ with all the planning 😂
