Look for local community halls or welfare halls , pubs with private function rooms xx some places will let u have it free cause of money took over bar xx

There are loads in the lakes if that's any help.
The old mill in Bardsea just outside of Ulverston is perfect. It's where we were having ours until we had a change of plans and needed somewhere bigger.

Also, John Ruskins in Coniston is beautiful and has different sized rooms and a gorgeous little loft for reception.

Guy's Cliffe in warwick is wear we are getting married. My fiance loved it while attending a freemasons initiation in the adjoining lodge and took me a few weeks later purely by chance the caterer was there so we could look around inside and have a talk.
