I have 5 months before my hen and my wedding is 6 weeks after that, im hoping to lose 2.5 stone by then, im eating very healthy meals, minimal treats and regular exercise, slimming world is a good way to do it too, even if you dont wanna pay for it, there are plenty of fb groups that do it from home that can help x

I’ve cut out a majority of carbs and sugars! Strict Keto diet!
No pasta, bread, rice, no whole grains either.
One cheat day!
Exercise and plenty of water!
Chillis are helpful too as they increase your core body temp which makes you sweat! The more you sweat the more you burn!
I’ve been on this diets two weeks now and I feel great! (the sugar withdrawal sucks though)

Most importantly! You want to do it for you! no one telling you too! And you need to be self motivated! (Which I still struggle with)

Eat healthy and exercise. Don’t bother with quick fix diets, meal replacement shakes or pills, it’s not good for your body. Drink lots of water and forget calorie counting, Go on google and search slimming world syn free recipes, all meals cooked fresh, all fresh healthy ingredients and fat free doubled with regular exercise is the best way to go. Even if it’s just a good brisk walk every day, squats, crunches and push ups 👍🏻👍🏻

Lost 5 stone in 18 months calorie counting on My Fitness Pal. Eat less than you burn. Weigh up treats and decide if they're worth the calories. I've kept it off for 4 years.

Literally plan a wedding 🤣

I've decided not to go on a wedding diet because everytime I try a new plan, I end up eating more than before thinking I'm eating the right things, and end up putting weight on. Every time. So I decided not to obsess, I know what is good food (veggies, white meat, wholemeal carbs), and what is bad food (chocolate, sugar, pizza) and I just need to remember to eat more of the good stuff and cut out the bad stuff. I also walk my dog every day and go classes at the gym twice s week. If I lose a size or two before the wedding, I will be happy. But I just don't want to change things again and end up disappointed. Good luck!

I found that cutting dairy products from my diet was great for weight loss (it was giving me excema so had to stop eating it). Also try and drink a glass of water before eating and you will find your portion sizes reduce. Lots of exercise, I know lots of people like to count their steps etc, maybe you could aim for something similar.
Good luck with your journey and enjoy your wedding!

I haven't lost anything before (so far, at least) despite trying, but my bridesmaids (sisters) have lost loads between them 🙈 never mind though, it's about the day not how much weight I lose 🙂

Don't. He loves you for who you are, not what you look like. You might as well be true to yourself in pictures that you will look at forever. Unless you're planning to keep it up, that's a different story. I don't believe that wedding should be your only reason to lose weight, it will only add more stress. Pick a dress that really suits the curves you have and be happy and enjoy the day.

Weight Watchers - found it far more successful than Slimming World not least because the app is so much better.
I track everything I eat and nothing is really off limits as long as you work to your budget.

There is such a high pressure put on brides to loose weight before the wedding. This is crazy! the one you love obviously loves you as you are now, so why put yourself through that stress. I know we all want to look good on our wedding days. I am the same but 90% of the time that weight will go straight back on during the honeymoon. Why not try to enjoy planning your wedding and not stress about the pounds!?

If you want too I did a size 18s to a 10s in 3/4 months. No bullshit,
I stopped milk and limited dairy products
Stuck to 1000 calories per day of good healthy food
No sauces etc
I weighed everything to make sure I had the correct amount
I did not eat any rubbish
I went to the gym at least 5 times per week (at least one class per week)
Nothing other to drink except lots and lots of water and a black coffee in the morning with rather no sugar or one sugar
This is how I found the best results
It doesn’t work for everyone but it did for me xxxx

The week before my wedding I had my final fitting and the wedding dress lady had cut too much out the bodice. Had 1 slice of toast, John west tuna lunch, fruit and grilled fish and salad every day for a week. Plus an hour in gym. 3/4 of a stone later dress was loose . As soon as I was in it ate a cheese sandwich and a packet of macaroons to make up for the week 🤣🤣🤣🤣
