Hey all brides. Just a quick question. Who’s giving you away? I have my dad and step dad and would like to have both to give me away. Is this allowed or would I have to choose as I really don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings. Any advice please

I was given away by my dad and my uncle. I didn't have to choose

Me and my husband walked in together so no one gave me away. If it’s with a registrar it’s completely your decision. I think church’s can be a bit different depending on the church x

My mum is walking me down the aisle 😍 You have whoever you want there, or if the aisle is big enough have your dad walk you half way and hand over to your step dad for the rest of the way x

You'll know their relationship with each other better than any of us can comment, sometimes it can cause upset and sometimes it works out perfectly, I would approach your dad before asking your stepdad and say you've been thinking about it, see how he reacts. You could either have one on either side of you or one to walk you half way down the aisle and the other to walk you the other half. I'm sure your stepdad would really appreciate it

I’m having my 14 year old son give me away as my dad has said that he won’t be there because of religious reasons.
It’s your wedding why not have both by your side. It’s your day, you can do whatever you want.

I did exactly that had my dad and my step dad because I love them both both are Important to me and I didn't want to choose between them. Weddings are becoming less and less traditional now a days and it is yours and your h2bs day. Do whatever makes you happiest and I'm sure they will both be thrilled to be asked x best of luck

Have both one on each arm. I saw someone have there Grandad and there Dad give them away as her Grandad raised her when she was younger and her Dad wasn’t around when she was younger.

I’m getting married for the second time so I’m getting my 17 year old son to do it. My dad gave me away first time but I came back so they’re hoping this time I won’t 😂

Go for both. I'm choosing not to have anyone give me away as I'm of the view that I'm giving myself to my fiancé so I don't need anyone to do it for me.
