Evening wedding

Hi, we're thinking of having a late afternoon wedding rather than a full day, and just having the ceremony and going to the reception, missing out the wedding breakfast. I'm just wondering if anyone else has done this and how it was? Also what did you do for the morning before the wedding? Thanks
