It might depend on the size of the wedding, but friends of ours did random post cards with a little personal note on for each guest. Which was really lovely.
We went to a wedding and they did wooden key rings with our names on
We made our own, they took ages to make but were appreciated by all our guests and can still be seen on display when we go visiting 5 years later.
Cheap and my guests loved them 😊
We doubled up the place names as a favour by gifting them the photo frame to take home. They were about £1.55 each. 😊 xx
Personalised cookies double up as place card too
I made test tubes of tea with a tea strainer and attached leaves with guests names on as both place settings and favours. They also got a silhouette to take home and one to stick in our guest book from a silhouette artist we hired ️
Went to a friends wedding almost 3 years ago and these were the favours, has our names on.. Kept mine and my partners and stuck them on our bedroom door. Can hang them on xmas tree too. Love them. She had little candles too with their name on and wedding date. Really nice touch.
Wooden lazercut placenames and a starfish (married abroad) I sprayed the names gold and they doubled up as a keepsake x
I'm thinking of buying little wooden boxes (you can buy them off ebay or amazon) and then you can either write the guest's initals on the top or if you have a wood burning tool, you can do a pyrography design on the top xx
