Just for fun - wedding disaster dreams!

I had a dream that I forgot to tan and honesty I woke up mortified thinking it had actually happened 😂😂

I dreamt that I forgot to get my dress altered and to order the cake despite both things being done!

I had a dream mi mother came saying "I put your dress by mistake on the washing machine and not it's broken, you will need to wear this one (a horrible dress tacky and with blue flowers here). Horrible

Your dreams are just your brain working through Anxiety's you nay have. Planning a wedding can be a logistical nightmare. Use these dreams as a reminder check list. Some things are controllable I.e booking a taxi to airport and some aren't such as flight being delayed or cancelled. Try not to let them stress you out and laugh about them together.

Despite having my dress hanging in my mums wardrobe I kept dreaming that I just forgot to buy a wedding dress and had to run out the morning of the wedding and get a second hand one from a charity shop which was all off white and grey because I obviously didn't have time to get it cleaned

One i had recently: Bridesmaids are wearing pjs walking down the aisle, somehow in a field not at our venue. My dress alterations hadn't been done and I'm walking holding it up, caterers haven't shown up.

Oh my God I had the worst ones and I'm MONTHS away.
In one of them literally nothing was done for the wedding and on the morning of the wedding when the ceremony was supposed to start I was running around town in my wedding dress sorting transport, flowers etc out. All of that only for me to get to the venue and realise its completely different and in like, shambles.
Another one where my fiancé left me on the wedding day then I woke up in his bed after a one night stand only to find out he's living with another woman and a man and they're having a polygamous relationship. 🙈
Then I had another one where I kept thinking the wedding was tomorrow but them tomorrow came and the wedding was months away and my flowers were going to get ruined but then I woke up the next day thinking that ONCE AGAIN the wedding would be "tomorrow".
I just want them all to end. 😭😭😭

I had a dream that 20 minutes before the ceremony was due to start I realised that myself and bridesmaids had forgotten to go to our hair and make up appointments

I had a dream that we got married over by our local park on the estate for some reason all the chairs, people, registrar were there. I was getting ready, only for my dress to not turn up (on the day aswell for some reason) my make up & hair lady didnt turn up & i managed to be late aswell, so last i remember was running across the green with a ponytail, pjs & everyone packing up x

I dreamed i was getting married at a hard rock on a retail park. The groomsmen didnt have suits but it was fine as Moss Bros were next door lol

The week of the wedding I realised I booked everything for the Saturday even though we're getting married Thursday so we had no food, I had to do my own makeup, also I let time get away from me and my dress went missing so I had to find something else to wear and nobody could look after the cat, I hadn't booked the honeymoon. I had invited everyone to the wrong day. You name it.

I had all those and more. We got married last Saturday and are on a minimoon and all we have done is sleep. A wedding is exhausting but so worth it. Good luck for your big day xx

So no one else has had the suddenly being naked at the ceremony dream then? Laugh them off and remind your self that you're sorted. And if having a back up plan will help you sleep better, make one. Once you know you're more than covered for almost any eventuality you should be able to relax. Meantime remember it's normal to fret but don't let it control you x

I dreamt the local registry office had closed so they were using a temporary office in the local multi-storey, my husband was late as he'd gone to a completely different venue, so my ex-husband stood in his place, the guests were in the carpark, my dress had ripped all down the back, my sister didn't arrive to be bridesmaid so my cousin had to step in, she also had to give me away because my brother didn't have his suit, no-one could find the flowers and actually woke up in a cold sweat shaking, best of it was, we weren't even getting married at the local registry office. Another I dreamt our wedding reception was an episode of kill it, cook it, eat it and everytime I filled my plate with food it disappeared and I had to keep going back to refill it, half of the guests didn't want the food and decided to be vegetarian and when I woke up I had this overwhelming urge to check sausage rolls were on the buffet menu. Another one both hubby and I turned up naked, hair and make up wasn't done, the rings went missing. Everything went according to plan on the day, thankfully, I think your brain just goes into overdrive and anything that is a little niggle or worry becomes a big thing in your dreams especially when you only have weeks or days left to go lol

I dreamed that my dress was practically a see-through...and I was wearing black underwear

I keep dreaming my photographer etc won’t turn up and my ex turns up to profess his love - more of a nightmare really hahaha x

The morning of my sisters wedding, everyone was getting ready and my younger sister who was 8 at the time followed my as I was walking up the stairs and stood on the back of my bridesmaids dress and RIPPED IT AT THE WAIST!!!! 20 minutes before we had to leave!! I couldn't believe it!! I was crying and panicking and thankfully my mum and I had to tuck it and pin in!

My dream was that my dress got altered so that it was knee length but I didn’t check it until the morning of the wedding x

I've had this dream multiple times... someone from my wedding party, steps on my veil whilst I'm walking down the isle and pulls all my hair out, not just out of its style completely out of my head!!
Due to the dream I am now having all my bridesmaids and Paige boys walk down the isle first x

I had my first one last night. My fiance married me then left me sitting on my own at my wedding breakfast with just my parents... All the guest had disappeared too!!!! 😟😟😟

I dreamt I went out the night before the wedding and wore my wedding shoes, I lost them somewhere and didn't realise until I was getting ready. I had to retrace my steps an hour before the ceremony to try and find them but I could only find one and had to wear trainers

I remember having a dream that my venue had decided to have an open day on the same day as our wedding

All my family and friends were there and the staff were opening all if the bedroom and saying they needed to be open for the open house

My shoes and veil had been hidden in a cupboard, then we just had random people wondering around we didn’t know

In reality the only thing g that happened ok the day I hadn’t expected, I jumped in the car to go to the local village as I forgot to get the money out to pay my makeup lady 😀

My worst ones were always not having got anything ready for the day and rushing round trying to buy a dress and get my hair done etc... and running out of time! Then I had one where I hadn’t invited anyone and it was the day before the wedding. The worst one... which I then had nearly every night for a couple of weeks before the wedding was that I had a sickness and diarrhoea bug in the middle of the night before the wedding. Like a proper awful 24 hour bug! I was so sick in my dream and I was still puking and pooing when the hairdresser and make up lady arrived. I had to sit with a bucket and run to the loo every 5 mins. The dream always ended with me puking in the back of the wedding car on the way to church and it dawning on me that I would probably shit myself walking down the aisle 🤢🤪

I turned up to the church and Donald trump was the vicar the car then dint turn up and I had to walk 4 miles to the venue in my dress while Donald trump drove by woth his vs up lol

Our wedding is a year and two months away and I'm already having dreams about it! The other night, o dreamt that we were getting married in a registry office instead of venue. And I couldn't get my dress on before the ceremony so put on a navy one (!) Then took it off and persevered with the original dress and couldn't locate a bra. Everything was going wrong and then I woke up in complete terror

11 days away and anything that could go wrong has gone wrong!! Dress issues, guest issues, menu issues, almost breaking ankle resulting in shoe issues...you name it, it's happened!

I've been having nightmares 8 months in advance 🙈 variety of walking down the aisle and forgot to take off my coat, wedding reception venue burning down and having to go elsewhere (in my dreams this place being somewhere with bad memories), weird bridesmaid dress issue dreams... all bloody sorts. Its the only thing that comes into my head at night!

I've got over a year until I get married but I had a dream the other week that my fiance got remarried to his ex wife, yet it was all my family there as well as his. No idea where that dream came from!!!

My worst one was on the morning my hairdresser and make up artist never turned up then I went to get my dress and it had gone so had to get another one and then turned up to the venue to find it was actually matalan and not the hotel and I had no flowers and was sat in the car park making my own . Absolutely awful 🤣 xxx

I have nightmares about it now and mine is 8 months away! Im scared hes not going to show (i know he will just in my dream i walk down the aisle to noone) xxx

Mine was I over slept, so couldn't get my hair done, someone broke in and stole all our phones so I couldn't phone anyone, went downstairs and Roy Cropper from Coronation street was fixing our broken window, we have 6 weeks on Saturday till our big day x

Avril Lavigne and Kym Marsh turned up at my wedding. Kym Marsh sang a song but my brand new husband decided he fancied Avril Lavigne and I caught them all over each other at our wedding breakfast! My wedding day literally ended in divorce in that wedding nightmare 🤷‍️🤦‍️

My hubby to be dreamt he was in the ceremony room wearing my dress!!! 🤣

7 months to go but anytime we talk Wedding I have a dream for a few nights that he’s changed his mind and I’m heartbroken. There has also been one where my dress was he wrong one... he didn’t want to marry me in that one either. Horrible waking up and not being sure if it’s real for a few minutes...!

I dreamed the everything was fine til we arrived at the ceremony and nobody had come. My h2b was standing waiting for me in an empty room. Then our caterer threw a tantrum cos he prepared a meal for 30 people and there was no one to eat it.

I also have recurring dreams about giving birth on my wedding. I am not pregnant, my wedding is over a year away.

I dreamt that I turned up at our wedding venue to get ready and it had been decked out as a st Patrick's day theme and all the staff were dressed as ginger bearded leprechauns and everyone proceeded to get completely smashed and forgot to watch the wedding
