Hi all! My H2B and I were discussing transport for our day as we don't know if we'd like to go classic or quirky lol. What's everyone's transport plans on the day? Xx
I get a vintage car included with the venue. It depends if you want something classic and lively for photos or something different
I’m having a hub limo as there a few of us
London bus! My partner is from London and now lives up north so a little touch of hone for him x
I'm having a beautiful 1936 Rolls Royce. It's classic and stunning.
I've got a white tesla model x for wedding car then limo for bridal party and parents.xx
We didn't have one as stayed at the venue but we had decided on a tractor if we needed it....We are farmers 🚜
Ive got classic cars for us, i was goin to hire and old fashioned bus to transport guests to the venue but as our church and venue are quite close to each other i couldnt justify hiring one
I'm having traditional horse & carriage 😊 x
We had a camper van, it was fantastic
I did both and had a vintage fire engine
I got a vw t25 taking me
I am staying at the venue but my fiance is coming in the car we are restoring which is a Karmann Ghia convertible. Also having our VW Bay window camper van and my Nissan Figaro for photos
I'm having a hummer, champagne included less than £200 that's for me. My mum n dad three bridesmaids four flower girls and maybe my son if he doesn't want to go with his dad x
I'm going executive! Mercedes E class. I'm getting married in Bolton in November and my reception venue is 15 miles from the church, down the M60, so did not want to be trundling along in an open top vintage car.
We are having a limo and boat x
I'm having a pink limo 😃
We had London cab. To save a bit of money on transport, lol.
We’re having this Rolls Royce, although no one will see if because they should already be in the venue when I arrive
Bentley carolina for me and my dad to church then me and h2b after to venue mum taking bridesmaids in her car
Vintage cars for me! I once saw a bride with a horse and an open carriage and it stopped in the street to have a massive poo 😂
My parents house was opposite the church so we walked, but then we had a miniature steam traction engine to take us to the venue.... quite the talking point for the chaps
We had a convertible '72 beetle and a VW camper also, will share other pics below!
we’re walking 😂🤷🏻♀️
Taxi £6 each way 🚖🚕😂🤣
We were married on the Broads, hubby just drove our cat as he didn't see the point in spending loads when no one (including him) cared. My aunt drove me a mile from the venue where I got ready, to get a boat back where everyone was seated on the jetty outside and I got off the boat, walked top the end of the jetty and straight down the isle (with a visit from the registrar on the boat to run through the formalities)
We had vw van for bridesmaids and we had a white Mercedes xxx
I wanted something quirky so this is what my dad arranged and I loved it
Me and my h2B are gonna hire a wedding car to ours!! I think you should go in style.
Camper vans for us
We stayed at the venue but my husband arrived in this it’s ours and tractors were our table names and are part of our lives lol we had it parked outside the wedding venue and everyone loved it lol
I have a local 1952 police commissioners car with blue light and working bell. Driver is even going to dress the part with truntion and handcuffs 🤣 its cost us £340 for the whole day and as many trips as we want and photo opportunities with guests in handcuffs etc. Even asked me my colour scheme so he could match it with the bows etc
I'm getting ready at the venue so my h2b is having the limelight, he loves his cars so is going to drive himself in his 22 year old E36 😍
I had a black cab :)
Probably the local (nice) cab company for us! I’m not bothered and would rather the money went towards the things we are bothered about
This was our car and then we had a limo and an Audi convertible for the wedding party xx
My mum x we didn’t want to spend heaps, so in my mums car I went x no one even knew so what was the difference?x
I'm having a white 3 door Sierra cosworth
My partner is having a land rover just because hes always outside :) x
We’re having a Lothian busses vintage big red bus.
Ours is a silver chrysler 300 (also known as a baby Bentley).
Staying over at venue save on transport cost lol x
My daughter had a vintage rolls Royce and her bridesmaids had a vintage VW camper, they looked amazing xxx
I plan to ask my uncle if we can borrow his jaguar. Fancied a Rolls Royce but trying to cut costs wherever possible.
We offer vintage cars for brides in the Bristol and Bath area. See www.kenskars.co.uk
We got to the hotel early and got ready in the bridal suite. Solved the issue of having to turn up in fancy transport. No point spending too much as no one would have seen me arrive anyway as they would have been inside! Xx
I'm going to church on my dad's motorbike then we were thinking of just using my partners car I didn't think I wanted classic or vintage how ever we are now thinking about a cream vintage car with drop down back from the church to the reception x
We decided it wasn’t worth spending £300 on cars we would be in for 20 minutes so we are just going to see if family can take us and spend that money on a photo booth instead 🙂
