CONFETTI

We are getting married in April and want to make our own confetti cones - has anyone else done this and where did they get the confetti from?

I got mine from Shropshire Petals. They were amazing! And as real petals they were ok at my church. I wanted sequins but that was a no. So I got the pale blue, silver and white/ivory petals. Looks like snow in our winter wedding photos xx

I did! I got my confetti from eBay, ordered different colours and shapes! Then decorated my own cones too! Those were from Hobbycraft.

I got a kilo of rose petal confetti from amazon and made the cones out of paper doilies. We had loads of leftover confetti but luckily we have a couple more family weddings coming up!

Biodegradable tissue paper from ebay and stampers from the range. Cost about £20 and got like 10 litres from it.

We made our own. Buy flowers in as many colours as you can find, I used flowers bought for me over the year and reduced flowers from supermarket and microwaved the petals in a single layer on kitchen paper for about a minute, their dry out completely and go a really vivid colour and keep for ages on air tight containers

I bought the crate from Amazon and spayed it. Printed off the sign myself. Purchased cones from Ebay and made them myself. The flowers were from my Nans, friends and florest all dried, kept in the dark and kept until the wedding as we could only use natural flowers. They smelt lovely and blended lovely with our theme and venue

I used brown paper, the stuff packages used to be wrapped in. We cut them into squares and then printed our names and wedding date in one corner and then double sided taped together. I then made the confetti drying out petals from our garden.

We got married in August and I made most of my own confetti, plus made my cones too.. These pics are of the confetti I made myself (we bought some too as didn't have quite enough). Cones made out of pages of a book of the film Twilight Breaking Dawn, as our wedding theme was loosely based around the films. I loved them xx
