Wedding dress searching

Looking for some tips when it comes to trying on dresses. I'm looking at losing some weight prior to the wedding so do I try on in my current size, however once I've lost some weight will the style then look different? So lost?!? And also any bridal boutiques that stock size 18 in and around Derbyshire. Thank you :) xx
