Invitation help needed!

We love the idea of postcard theme for our wedding invitations since we are having a destination wedding, but how would you tie in information cards ect to the postcard so it looks like it all goes together? We did kraft luggage labels for our save the date so would like to continue that through the other stationary.

Just make up an information card with that’s sort of design. Could always design and print yourselves? We just printed ours on plain card. Didn’t match the invites but it was cheap and easy to do.

Saw a nice one on ‘Pinterest’ where they had a card with all the info and then the rsvp bit was a postcard x

What about a 'passport to our wedding' and put details, menu, address etc in the passport booklet and have a postcard to rsvp.

We put our information in a “passport”

You could fold it to look like a postcard then pulls down consatina style with the rest of the info?

Why not do ‘passport style’ invitations and the info cards as the postcards?

Try out zazzle.co.uk we used postcard type invites for ours and there’s loads of room on the front and back to write any info you need to.

I would do the information card in same font and card as your postcard so they will match in

Kraft card is very popular now and widely available. Most of the wedding stationers we looked at had Kraft as an option but if the worst comes to the worst you can get a pack of 50 A4 sheets of Kraft card at Hobbycraft for around £2.50 and print information cards yourself for inclusion! We used Pure Invitations who are online and were great - lovely shabby chic and vintage items as well as more modern designs and Kraft card is an option in all designs. You can also write your own wording on all items of stationery so it can be totally bespoke to you and construct the invitations yourself so it's cheaper as well! Ebay businesses also have loads of Kraft items such as place cards, invites etc. at very inexpensive prices. Worth having a look at both but I'm sure you'll be spoilt for choice at any stationers :-)

I’ve created a few postcard wedding invites! Please check my page I Do Invites or website: www.idoinvites.co.uk for some examples

Hobbycraft do a great range of stamps that look like postcards/luggage tags. I've also seen passport style ones? These had multiple pages with the info. Xx

You set up a free website with getting married.co.uk. Really nice creating all your info, add as much or as little as you want. Saves information cards. That's what we've done.

What about making them look like travel tickets?

Do an envelope type of invite and you could make it look like a posted postcard on the outside. And then inside you can put all the bits and bobs.

We had a website, you could direct everyone to it so the detail is there

Was super easy and free to set up and we put everything on there x

We did post cards for our save the dates, and have boarding passes as our invites with luggage tags containing more information 🙂
