I'm been with my parter for 4 years now and we love to get married but we just cannot afford to get married but it would make us feel better if we were married and all the up and down we had would make it that our dream what we do will be every ever

It’s not that expensive to get married, it just depends on what you would want we’re doing everything ourselves and the venue is supplying the decorations.x

It’s taken us 15 years to set a date, we finally pick April 2020, just pick a date and go for it, I am doing 99% of the things myself and I have saved loads xx

Our wedding is costing no more than 2k. The day doesnt matter as much as the marriage that comes after x x x

We got married at our local registry office (luckily we have a rather lovely one with picturesque grounds and rooms) we spent no more then £300.00 on the wedding including my dress which was brought new online for £30.00 we never wanted the fuss of getting married but just to be married and show a united family front. Hope you get all you wish for xXx

Our day is costing under 3k and that includes about £400 of alcohol. The venue is doing loads for us. The rest we are doing ourselves.
Weddings are what you make them.
The honeymoon is our biggest expense.

if all you care about is getting married, you can get a statuary ceremony done for 140 quid for giving notice the lot, you are allowed two witnesses and no other guests, wedding is how expensive you make it the only absolutely essential bits is giving notice and saying your vows all the rest is your choice

You can get married for under £500. If it’s just the matter of being wed then you could literally turn up in your jeans, say your vows and sign the dotted line. A wedding cost what you want it to cost.

Registry offices are pretty cheap! If your not bothered about it being in a church etc. We are getting married for less than 3000, that's for the Church, outfits, reception, rings, photographer, etc, just know your budget and you can do it whatever it is, it will be special however you decide to go. Xx

My sister went to the registry office and then out for a meal and then ice skating. It hardly cost anything and friends and family that wanted to go were still welcome

Our wedding budget is around £7000. We have given ourselves 2 years to plan and save, the venue we have chosen has a lot included so is saving us a lot on room decorations and music.
