Hi there, very new to this! Looking to book a wedding overseas in 2021. Don't even know where to start!
My friend got married in Cyprus if that helps
City? Beach? Just the two of you, or the whole family? Long haul? Decide on that first and then look at how long you have to be resident before you can have the ceremony. Oh, and congrats! Enjoy whatever you decide to do. x
Travel agents. Facebook groups. I’m getting married in Jamaica 2020. I started off looking for hotels with the wow factor then checked to see if they did weddings. Most travel agents do wedding brochures.
We went to Iceland, self planned & all legal. Super easy & totally epic scenery
I might be able to help with this.
I'm an independent travel specialist (and UKBride approved supplier), so can sort out any travel arrangements. The first thing to do is decide what sort of wedding/honeymoon you want, and build up from there. That means asking loads of questions until the ideas take shape. Is there a particular place that means a lot to you? and are there places you WON'T go? Time of year, type of wedding (Beach/luxury/ adventure/ unusual, and so on). Then you've got the logistics of getting people there..and of course the cost..loads of fun!!
I'd be happy to help, it's what I do every day! As well as the usual travel agent stuff, I have access to a lot of specialist wedding companies that can help.
My service is free. You only pay for the holiday/wedding to book (assuming you do) and everything is fully ABTA/ATOL protected.
You can contact me via email on [email protected] or via my Facebook page :- Steve Friend - Brilliant Travel and we can chat about your ideas,
Thanks
I'm not getting married abroad but set a budget then go and speak to some travel agents x
Looking at marrying December 2020 and haven’t even confirmed a definite date, only just found the venue we like. Is this bad that we don’t have anything confirmed or do we still have a little bit of time? Not sure of the wedding planning process
try and narrow it down to country first! They have a fab website called https://www.ionianweddings.co.uk check them out! And look at YouTube, you can get so many tips of other brides who ‘vlog’ there whole experience!
