We are getting married at at the end of May 2019. Sent out the save the dates back in March but when would you send out the formal invitations? I was thinking after Christmas? Thanks.
We are also getting married at the end of May. We’ve ordered our invites and plan on sending them out early in January. X
Ours is 1st June. We sent save the dates in Jan I think (cant remember tbh) and we're sending invites in mid to late Jan, so we can get Xmas sorted then my fiance's youngest son's birthday in early Jan
Getting married at beginning of May and we've sent save the dates, the main invites and rsvps out. Only done that to get numbers in as I'm expecting my first baby in the next week or so and also with Xmas coming up I didn't want so much to do come new year. X
Getting married in May and not even sent out the save the dates yet
We are getting married in August. Glad I've not ordered mine yet as it looks like my venue may be closing 😭😭😭
We getting married on valentine's Day next year we sent out save the date in Feb this year and sent out invitations I'm August and asked for replys by end November had them all bk by end Oct wanted everything planned and paid for bfore Xmas as we have 7children together and 3birthdays from Jan till Feb lol
26th may is our wedding we skipped save the dates and sent out invites last month
I'm beginning of May and sent mine out about August time x
We are mayb4th and sent our invites a couple of weeks ago. With food choices we wanted to give ourselves more time. We toyed between before Xmas or after and decided before was easier for us. If you have no options etc and don't need food choices by a deadline is go with January x
We marry 25/05/19 we sent save the dates out a year before hand and formal invitations a month or so ago x
Im not getting married till August 2020 and I’ve already sent save the dates as it’s summer holidays will be sending invites out this time next year to make sure people have time to book time off work. Are you inviting any kids? If so I’d send them out soon so they no not to book a holiday as end of May is roughly half term
We are 5th May and are just waiting for our invites to be finished, we are aiming to send them either just before or just after Xmas as we need the head count confirmed for the start of February - a month should give everyone time to RSVP
I got married end of May this year and we sent our invites out with our Xmas cards.
We get married 25/05/18 and sending ours out in the next few days xx
Thanks all!
We get married May 2019 but sent out our invites last August. We didn’t bother with save the dates but a we get married the Sunday of a bank holiday weekend wanted to give people plenty of notice.
We got married on May 27th. Sent invites out just after Xmas to avoid them getting caught up in the Christmas Post.
We get married 3rd May 2019. Save the dates were late going out (October) and we plan to send invites in Feb
Getting married 11th May 2019, didn’t do save the dates, but sent invites about a month ago. Have guests from abroad so wanted to give plenty of notice. RSVP date is February 2019 for catering purposes.
Traditionally you only send them 6 weeks prior to the wedding but with chasing people up for RSVPs I'd suggest at least 2 months. Sending them out in March 2019 will be ample time and will be close enough to the wedding for people not to linger and to get excited about attending :-)
We're getting married then too. We have already sent ours out. It is taking a while to get rsvps back though so I'm glad I did.
