If its for saving money for the wedding, see if your bank does a 'Save the Change' deal like Lloyds. Any purchases get rounded up to the next £1 and the extra put into a savings account for you.
When buying anything, check if topcashback do any deals, or see if you can do it yourself for less money

Take a look at places like Etsy as sometimes a small retailer will work out cheaper. I had a chapel length veil. In a UK wedding shop I’d be looking at paying £250 for it. Instead a woman in Utah made it for £60 and I paid a £16 Customs import fee.

Sample sales can help you save a tonne on your dress.

We're looking at the possibility of only doing wedding favours for the children attending, in the form of a bag of mixed sweeties I've been to weddings where the bride and groom have spent hours on hand made wedding favours and about 90% are left on the tables and end up going in the bin! There should be plenty of alcohol to keep most of the adults happy

Set up a direct debit into a different account or even another bank. Stops the temptation from taking it back out.

Do as much DIY as you can with favours decorations etc. Buy in bulk. EBay is great for any bulk items or unwanted wedding decorations. Cut down on the budget favours.

Keep the guest list as small as you can. Only invite people who you keep in contact with. Decide if you like people enough to feed them twice.
