Me & my partner got engaged in May this year I was just wondering what people's opinions are on long engagements? I always said even before he proposed that when I got engaged I didn't want a long engagement like 2-3 year at the most but now he's proposed and were trying to save for a deposit for a house aswell because we're sick of renting but we can't afford to do both and I don't know which I want to save for first a house or a wedding... i feel like a house is the better option but I really didn't want a long engagement :/
