Does the bridesmaids dresses have to go with the grooms kilts? My fiancé wants navy/bottle green but we’re having a rustic theme and I just don’t think it will go.

We are having rustic theme and my partner's kilt is this colour too.

I've gone for peacock feathers in the bridesmaids hair and navy 50s style dresses, they're having gypsophila bouquets. My bouquet is paper flowers made from book pages with peacock feathers in so it ties it together.

Depends what colours you were thinking of?

My partner will be in a kilt and I'm trying to tie in the colours with that. The flowers, bridesmaid dresses etc will probably be dark blue to match xx

My husband wore a dark green kilt that had red running through it. My bridesmaid wore red, husband got red flashes for his socks to tie it together. Any colour of kilt will go most colours of dresses, you don't have to tie everything together.

They don't have to match exactly, but it's a good idea to look for complementary colours that won't clash at least, as you're likely going to have photos with them next to each other. Though they won't be next to each other for the whole day, of course. You could perhaps go for a pale green, which should fit with the rustic style (I'm thinking foliage-pale green colour) and would work with the green and navy kilts.
