Me and my h2b are getting married in August next year. We have budget of 3k and I'm DIYing a lot of elements myself like invitations, centerpieces and decorations but our venue doesn't provide their own table linen and I'm reluctant to splurge on it. I've seen a few posts where people have decided to make or buy their own but I don't want to be left with a handful of my own tablecloths after the wedding! Does anyone have any tips on how to save money on this?!

We discovered that buying tablecloths off eBay was cheaper than hiring! So we’ve bought them and afterwards we will wash them and put them back on eBay!
Good luck! Xx

I know this might sound daft but we found it cheaper to get flat sheets for the table cloths. They worked out much cheaper. We got king size ones. Couldn’t tell the difference. Hope you manage to find something.

You can buy cheep paper table cloths from like b&m Poundland etc and then why not put some colour pens/pencils etc and get your guests to draw on them you can then cut some of the messages out an scrap book them after x

If you have rectangle tables you can get banquet roll which is pretty cheap

Got married on Saturday, bought tablecloths from eBay, which worked out the same as hiring them, except I saved on delivery! Planning to put the lot up on Gumtree :)
