I think I already know the answer to this but wanted to check! Me and my h2b are thinking of asking our Mums to be our witnesses. Is this ok? We figured that it would be a nice gesture since they don't really have a role within the day and everyone else does! :)
What a lovely idea!
That sounds like a lovely idea x
We are doing the same 🙂
That's what we did
Me & my husband done the same
We've done the same As well!

We are doing the same
We did the same, well, we had my mum and my husband’s step-mum. It’s so nice for them to have a formal role ️
That's what we did think it's a lovely way to include the mums x
Me and my h2b have asked both our mothers to be witnesses...they're over the moon about it. 😊
Hi my husband and I had our mums as witnesses. It was lovely to get them involved and I think they really appreciated the gesture
You can have who you want. We had our nans witness our wedding. X
We had our mum's as witnesses too. They were very happy to be asked.
We had my gran and auntie as our witnesses they were so touched we asked them to be involved xx
We have just done this and they were so happy to be involved this way xx
My mum and husbands mum and dad gave me away at our wedding and my son walked me down the isle it’s lovely to include them x
We had our Mum’s as witnesses too. The best way x
My husband and I had our mums as our witness' as well 😊
We did this
We are having our mums
My Dad was mine as my son walked me down the aisle.
This is what we did. It was lovely and made them feel really included. As my mum says she want through the pain of labour and and didn’t get a proper role during the wedding so it was nice to include them xxx
That's what we have done x
We did... And brides maid & best man. As there is room for 4 signatures...
We are doing the same too. Both mums were over the moon to be asked xxx
That’s a wonderful idea! A person’s witness can’t be related to them (in case you weren’t aware), so his mum will need to witness your signature and your mum will need to witness his. It’s a nice way to join the families right at the start!
