I'm completely new to this whole wedding lark. I'm the first of anyone of my friends/family my age to get married and I am unsure what the ettiqute is surrounding bridesmaids and groomsmen. Are the bride and groom expected to buy the outfits and how did people choose how many people they wanted in these roles?
I think its up to you...if it helps I'm the last in my age group to marry (I'm 35) and I've bought the outfits for the groomsmen and I opted for just a maid of honor (a friend of 20 years) and my granddaughter as flower girl....x
It’s completely up to you and your budget. Personally I am paying for their dresses, hair and makeup because I asked them to be my bridesmaids. I only have 2 BMs and a MOH. And do far we have 2 ushers and a best man x
