Toastmaster, what are your thoughts? Our package doesn't include one or someone to take on that role, do you think they are necessary and if not how did your day flow without one?

I've been working at 2 weddings as a videographer that had a toastmaster and both times they were awful!! First was really really cringey and the 2nd made loads of name mistakes...and introduced the groom and the best man with completely different names! For this reason...I'm staying clear lol! xxx

We had one for our sons wedding and recently our daughters wedding . They were invaluable made everything run smoothly . He made my daughter and son in law more relaxed as he kept everything in control and was great . In fact the venue were so impressed with him they've asked for him to work at future weddings .i suppose it depends on the sort of wedding and venue your having but we had nothing but praise for our toastmasters . 😊

Is that what your bridesmaids, best man etc are for. That’s what I think anyway haha, they will help the day run smoothly it’s kind of their job to help you out etc x

We had one. He was great. He helped us with all the little things, he introduced everyone for speeches, he introduced us, made sure I was running on time, got the music on for walking up/down the aisle. He even made sure any gifts, cards and money were safe and in the hotel safe. Xxx

Thanks ladies, Bridesmaids are my daughters, my dad has not long had a stroke and list all his confidence so looks like the best man will have to pull his finger out 😂

Didn't have a toast master for our wedding. We just went with the flow that made it more relaxed and less formal. Our guests really enjoyed it regardless and very much liked not being constantly interrupted and told what to do. We had no speeches, save for me saying a few words when we cut the cake... otherwise it was a chilled out, fun packed afternoon for everyone to share in.

We didn't have a toast master. The guests knew what was going on as the ceremony and wedding breakfast were held in the same hotel.
The manager of the hotel announced us into our wedding breakfast and Dj announced us for our first dance and that's all we needed, everything else flowed naturally 😊
