It depends whether you just want to be married or have a nice wedding?
You can get married for a few hundred quid but if you want a big wedding then you’ll just have to keep waiting and saving every penny you can.
4 years isn’t a long time really.

Help with what? Do you want ideas of how to plan a cheap wedding or everyone to chuck in a tenner and pay for it for you?

Not sure what they are asking for here... advice or donations

Cut out the things that aren't important.... go for cheap places.... I got a cheap new dress off eBay, three months from setting the date I was getting married, I loved every minute x

Elope. I went to Gretna and got married spent all in all 1000. Which included everything. Me and my husband are short on cash and we did that. Now we're so happy we did.

I've been with mine for 6 years just gone we've been engaged for 3, weve waited patiently for finances to become more stable, we have finally set a date for May 2020 which will Make our relationship 8 years and 2 weeks.... patience is a virtue and if you want the wedding of your dreams then it's worth the wait, trust me xxxx

Only costs about 40 quid to get married with just witnesses in a registry office during the week
If your after a huge bash then saving and making sacrifices is probably the best place to start

My partner and I have been together for 6 years already and got engaged Christmas 2015. . we finally set our date end of last year for August 2020... We have two young children are renting and only he is working ATM ... We scrimp what we can and do little bits here and there ... Family is helping on both sides but if you want it you've got to work for it .. start saving those pennies!! Ain't no freebies in love it's all hard work!!

Get married in your local registry. You can have just two witnesses, costs £50 with your marriage certificate. Have a get together after. We were together 12 and half years, engaged for 9 and half, got married last week. Only had a big do because we could finally afford it. Had the legal bit with two witnesses then had a normal day where our best friend performed our blessing.
Save your pennies - there’s no rush if you love each other and do want a big day! If it’s important to just be married go for something small.

Getting married isn’t about the money, lavish weddings etc.
Get married at the registry office to cut down or save HARD like everyone else to have the wedding you want.
Be happy that you have someone to love and loves you enough to want to marry.
You don’t need a wedding to show you love someone ✌🏻

Wow... there are these things called savings accounts. If you go to a bank they will open one for you. Move money into it like the rest of us do!

We’ve been together 18 years and tying the knot next year after 3 children and 2 mortgages!! We are saving up for it the normal way, cutting back and putting money aside!!

If you want a wedding of your dreams then start saving. If you don’t have the money that means there will be no wedding. But you don’t have to prove to your man how much you love him by getting married. Some people do. It’s your opinion weather you want the wedding or to just keep showing him the way you already have been. My wedding is July 1st 2020

Sometimes I think UK bride post these just to cause a stir so everyone comments and it gets more traffic on their page....

We waited 9 years to be able to have the day we wanted....
It doesn't need to cost a fortune, that's just personal preference.
If you're desperate to marry the person you love then it doesn't matter how it's done... A registry office is cheap and easily arranged with 2 witnesses - that's all you need to get married. The rest is your choice 😊

By the time we get married, we'll have been together 5 years, it all takes time and patience.
We plan to marry in 2020 and when to the day comes all the waiting and saving will be worth it x

You can only have what you can afford so be realistic. Register Office wedding then work on how/if you celebrate. Unless of course you want all the pomp n ceremony of a royal wedding. Just so you know you don't get a higher success rate the more you spend
