For personal reasons my partner and I brought our wedding forward and got married in an intimate service this year. We are planning on having a vowel renewal/ wedding blessing with our family and friends next year. As we are already legally married we are considering having a friend/ family member lead the service rather than a registrar (both to make it more personal and keep the costs down). Does anyone have any experience of doing this and can offer us any tips/ advice? We're particularly unsure of what would be said during the service as we'd need to write this ourselves. We've already got some readings we want to have, it's more the service part we need help with. Any help, suggestions or useful websites, would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
