Any recommendations for marquee hire in Kent? Also does anyone have any advice as to whether it’s better to use one event company to organise all elements of the day or to book everything separately? Trying to balance out being cost effective while also remaining as stress free as possible!

I’m using world inspired tents, I think they cover all over. They’re doing our tipis and tables and chairs, I’m decorating myself with the wedding party

When we first got engaged we wanted to hire our own marquee and do everything ourselves. The marquees themselves weren’t too bad in price to hire but by the time we factored in land hire, electricity generators, toilet hire, security to stay with the marquee for insurance purposes etc we decided to go to a venue that already had one with all of these things. It is a little annoying as we now have to pay corkage etc but it’s taken a lot of the stress away! Happy planning! X

The Ramada Hotel In Dover have a lovely marquee on site. It’s huge and has it’s own bar and toilet facilities. You don’t have to have your wedding there you can just hire the marquee. I’m having my whole wedding there - it was the grand marquee that sold it to us . Very reasonably priced too x
