Table decorations. We are having an evening wedding celebration three weeks after our marriage. The room is very large and the tables round and seat 8. As the occasion is more like a party than a wedding. Can anyone recommend a decoration suitable for these tables, except balloons, without a huge cost. Thought about decorating jam jars but they will look lost. Tia

Different coloured glass bottles with fairy lights in? Many charity shops have different coloured glass bottles and pound land have lights. Also, flowers from the supermarket could make a nice centre piece.

I got cocktail bowls from Poundland as well as some Leds on copper wire from there too. I bought a 6.99 roll of organza off Amazon and bam:
They look great in a low lit room!

You could make photo collages of you and your partner in cheap frames and put them in the middle of each table . Having said that if its dark you might not see them. We had different beer bottles with the copper wire lights in which looked good of hubbys fave beers x

Go to a local bar/gin bar and ask them for all their empty bottles, that’s why I’ve done. Got about 50 empty bottles for free which I’m going to put fairy lights and flowers and candles in them.

Bowls with floating tea light candles and coloured beads at the bottom.
Tall vases with string lights inside with either flowers coming out or attach photo's of yourself on them x

I had round tables, and did vases, with foam and silk flowers, these were given to special people at the wedding

I had 2 rooms in my venue, for the evening I decided one would be a quiet room and to save costs decorated it myself. I bought mirrored coasters and on top of them I stood spray painted old wine bottles of various shapes and sizes spray painted gold and rose gold they had white candles stuck in them and scatter diamonds all around them. Literally cost pounds and I loved how beautiful they looked! X

I'm maybe having artificial flowers in small vases, as I'm having a Tea.

We decorated our own jam jars, filled them with garden flowers and surrounded them with ivy with 3 or 4 jars on each table. Looked beautiful 😋

We used paper lanterns with tea lights in them it gave a great effect at night their fire proof and made for real tea lights but we just put flicker candle battery operated ones in them as we had individual balloons in them aswell get them on eBay we did 24 tables for very little cost but with great effect. This is best picture I have but hall lights are still on

I went into a pound shop yesterday and they had a wedding section with wooden signs, mirror plates, goldfish bowls and lights for between 1 and 5 quid. For the sake of a few hours use try places like that. Also B&M are selling off loads of wedding decor stuff cheap now too.
