Mine is May 2020, and I've booked the venue, registrar and photographer. Meeting booked with a florist in September. I just made sure I brought wedding insurance beforehand (due to it being so far away) but had to wait to 2 year countdown to buy it. But it's worth it to us to save any worry!

Not at all, it’s good to know what you’re looking at price wise. I even found my dress two years before my wedding, it’s just the way it goes sometimes. Just remember, enjoy the experience!

My wedding is on Saturday and got engaged two years ago this weekend too. We went to a wedding fair that November after finding our venue and booked a photographer, cake, dj, and wedding car. So it’s never too early. Good Luck with it all.

Definitely start now. We were advised when booking ours that if we secured prices and paid deposits the year before we would avoid increases in costs which occur in the wedding business every January. Lots of popular make up artists and photographers are booked well in advance too so avoid disappointment by sorting yours ASAP x

On the flip side I wouldn’t do everything early as I’ve found my mind has changed a lot as I’ve found and seen new ideas!

Definitely a good idea to start early! My wedding is Feb 2020 and we are not the richest people so it helps to spread the cost when things are booked rather then having to find the cash all at once. Plus you can spend more time near your wedding on the extra little things rather then worrying about mandatory stuff. Hope you have fun arranging everything :) x

Mine is October 2020 and we've pretty much got all the big stuff booked and quotes for the smaller stuff, means we know how much to save.

No I’m getting married in November 2020 an I’ve already booked my venue, venue dresser, photographer and my wedding cake. If you want a certain person or venue you have to get them early, if you leave it then you will be disappointed if they are booked up on your wedding day. Get them booked. Xx

Have you thought of an app for your guests to share their photos of your day? I hear wedbox is good.
