We are thinking of making our own centre pieces and boquets, I was wondering if any one had attempted this and if so if you used fresh or silk flowers and if there where any suppliers you would reccomend using for either.

I made all mine and I was very happy with the outcome. I made my own bouquets and centrepieces and saved a fortune, I used artificial flowers from permabloom and they were so beautiful.

I'm making my own centre pieces. Making paper roses from my favourite books. Found a tutorial on you tube, added Hessian ribbon, pine cones and berries.

I made ours. Centrepiece flowers were from the range and idea. And bouquet flowers eBay and hobbycraft. ( don't buy the super cheap ones) the real feel roses are abit more expensive but worth it.

I did it using fake flowers, I did buy my bouquet but it was only £18, so I figured I could splash out ;) we got a 'base' bouquet for the bridesmaids and then added the flowers I'd bought because I couldn't find them in the colours I wanted. Our centrepieces were made with glass bowls from Ikea, gel beads from eBay and more fake flowers. All of our flowers were from eBay x

I am making my own bouquet and making paper flowers and have lots of sparkely jewellery bits to put on after - i like the idea of being able to keep it after. Not finished yet or added bits but mines comic themed 😁 very easy to do!

I’ve made my bouquets (with help from family) and will be making my centre pieces, got all of my flowers from Country Baskets, I found that a lot of their flowers look and feel real. I would post pictures but not getting married until Feb

I used fake flowers and also made paper flowers. I think they look amazing and cheaper too! £117 for 6 bouquets! That’s my bridesmaids ones!

I made all my own centrepieces and decorations. I had a peacock theme so used birdcages with feathers and silk flowers. Looked amazing and didn't break the bank. I used wish.com for a lot of my decorations but as they are from china you have to allow about 4-6 weeks delivery. X

I've made my own bouquets (bridal X2 keeping one,X2 bridesmaid )and floral centerpieces for our memorial table . I used silk artificial flowers from either theartificialflowershop.co.uk or the range.co.uk. I still need to make the boutonniere and decorate the flower girl baskets . Was soo much cheaper and they look good enough for me I'm pleased as punch ! Best of luck x
