Wedding makeup. I'm frantically trying to solve a problem I have with what makeup artists are using on my skin. After a couple of hours every line and wrinkle is excentuated. Im over 50. I've had three different MUA and its happened everytime. When i do my own makeup I just use bbcream and doesnt have that effect. I'm wanting full coverage flawless effect. Is there anyone out there know why this is happening ? I'm desperate to get it sorted for mt wedding . Tia xx

Hi I believe you have to have make suitable for mature skin types :)

I'n 61 and was married yesterday and was lucky enough to have people say all day how wonderful I looked (and close girlfriends whispered how good my makeup stayed put). At my trial my MUA recommended Chanel's CC cream (BB too drying). It is not cheap but I can only say that it is well worth the money. Not much needed but if you want heavier coverage it is buildable. Good luck.

Try a base / primer first, I always use Clarins Beauty Flash Balme (50 yrs old)

Are you using a good primer because I have the same problem if I don't use one. I use the benefit porefessional which is also slightly tinted and my make up goes on great and lasts really well too xx

I find Estee Lauder Doublewear foundation is the best I've ever tried, I also use their doublewear powder. I got married in Majorca last August in 34 degree heat and I was pleased with how my make up lasted. I did my own make up, I'm 50

Have a trial done with an Airbase makeup artist.
Airbrush makeup is flawless and is waterproof so stays put all day I highly recommend it. You can find your nearest mua on their website x

Try using a primer and then try a tinted moisturizer . I use the body shop primer which is great . even if you just get some for your next trial and see if it makes a difference before you buy something a lot more expensive. Good luck and congratulations xxx

Don’t cover it up, I will be 50 when I marry and apart from a little loose powder to stop the shine just be happy with who you are. I’ve been a part time model for over two years and found the same problem so have always just kept it very simple and light.

Make sure you use a decent primer after you moisturise. It might be worth you trying a make up setting spray too

Less is more! Use primer, concealer and a little bit of foundation to even skin tone and a light dusting of powder topped with setting spray. When you have too many layers of make-up it means there is more to crease x

Make sure you moisturise and use a primer. Bare minerals has a very good setting powder, I think the mineral veil is specially designed for mature skin x

it sounds like she is using too much powder, powders if used incorrectly sit in your lines and show them off x

Already been said but moisturiser and a good primer. With less powder too should do the trick :) xxx
