A month today till our big day! Something I’m still fiddling with is music for down the aisle! Did you walk down to the same piece of music as your bridesmaids, or did you have a song for them then one for you? Thanks :)

How exciting not long now then for you. I’m getting married in 2020 an the groomsmen are walking down to chasing cars by snow patrol, bridesmaids to thousand years and I’m walking down to how long will I love you by Ellie Goulding. I hope this helps x

The bridesmaids follow you down the isle (unless you're american, then for some reason they walk first, and block the view of the bride) so its just the one piece of music.
I wanted something a bit different/fun, so I chose "White wedding" by Billy idol! I know someone who had Marry Me by Bruno Mars

We got married 2 weeks ago. The bridesmaids walked down the aisle go the same song as me. One went with my page boy and flower girl, then the 2 others went followed myself and my dad. We left about 20 seconds in between and almost took the whole song up!

I'm British but one of my bridesmaids played my wedding march (her beautiful piano version of Bob Marley Is This Love) so I had to have my BMs walk down first so she could get to her piano to play me in! My BMs walked down to Hannah Grace's cover of the Fatboy Slim song Praise You. It was beautiful and made my eyes water! Every time I heard that song, before I decided on it, I thought of them so it was great to find a version that was so beautiful and was really fitting!

Same song... I had 'At Last' by Etta James. Very fitting for me and my new hubby. Have a great day.

It all depends on the order you will be walking in. We are doing it the traditional British way so the groom’s party will be showing guests to seats etc. The bridesmaids will then walk behind me so it will be the same song. Not sure what people do when they do bridesmaids first.

We are being really unconventional, we aren't having bridesmaids or groomsmen, just our 4 kiddies as ushers. We are all walking in together, me my fiance and the kids. Not chosen a song yet but we are having a relaxed wedding and this was our way of doing so :)

One song was long enough to cover all of the wedding party processing in. This included 12 bridesmaids and groomsmaids, my husband and his parents, me and my parents, flower girl and boy.

I get married same date! Exciting time! Took me months to pick a song but have finally decided on one for the bridal party entrance. We are going to have the bridesmaids going in first and time it so that I come in for the chorus

I had a harpist play for my bridesmaids and flower girls and then a piper play for me and my dad. I liked that it was different, the pipes are a loud instrument so really announced my presence! x

Thanks everyone for your comments :) my bridesmaids will be going ahead of me, then I’ll be going down with my dad. It’s mostly to do with logistics of the space as once I’m stood where I am, there’s very little space for people to get between my and my fiancé and the front rows! The piece of music I have found is probably long enough for all six of them (yeah I know! 😳) and then me, but I’m still not sold on it being for them as well as it means something different...
