I’m currently planning my wedding and my mother in law has stated that we need to invite certain people or they will be upset. She says she will pay for them, however it restricts the other people who we want to invite, and I only really want a small wedding. I’m torn between standing my ground and just going with it to avoid disappointment. Has anyone else experienced this and what did they do?
