Hi there! Need a bit of advice. We’re hoping to get married in 2020 so have plenty of time to plan. Me and my partner live quite far away from each other and have chosen a venue closer to me than him. This means that his friends and family are going to have to travel. There is accomodation that they can stay in but I’m not sure if I should be paying for their accomodation or if the guests will pay for their own? I don’t want to be rude so I want to make sure I’m doing the right thing. Thanks :)

Hi it depends on your circumstances :)

My venue has accommodation, i have family who live 4 hours drive away, it is their decision where they want to stay, as will be offering my venue or a local hotel, whatever they budget allows. I am not paying for any rooms, nor any wedding i have ever attended have. It's a personal decision to stay over or not
