i am making my own bouquets ad button holes. i will be making the bouquests the night before, but how far in advance can i make the button holes? i will be adding ribbon the morning of the wedding
We made everything the day before, but it took us the whole afternoon to do everything. We also did the centrepieces.
I had artificial flowers. Made weeks before and looked just as lovely

At my Sister in Laws wedding in France we made all the centre pieces, bouquets and button holes the day of the wedding. The wedding was at 5pm. We started them at approx 10am and we finished them at approx 2pm. With around 6-7 people doing them. I guess it depends how many of each thing you need.
As a florist of 30 years, if your using fresh flowers, you could make your bqt 2 days before and keep in a cool place, and the buttonholes make the night before. X
as a florist I would suggest u do them as late as possible if they are fresh or they could wilt very quickly especially in heat, but if u do need to do them the night before put them in a Tupperware box with damp kitchen roll underneath the buttonholes and that should help keep them for longer
...... We made the bridesmaids bouquets on the Thursday & get them in jam jars of water & added the ribbons on Saturday morning .........
We did the bride's bouquet & buttonholes on the Friday and again kept them in jam jars of water overnight .......
All the flowers either need to stay in a cool garage or cool kitchen area away from direct sunlight to stop the buds opening !
Hurray ours were Looking absolutely fabulous & my bridesmaids bouquet I kept with me for another 2 weeks looking gorgeous !!!!
