I've been married in a registry office before, some of the buildings are really ornate and beautiful, I've never even been to a church wedding so I can't compare but registry offices are intimate and less intimidating in my opinion
Married in a registry office 57 year ago
I got married in local 1970s council registry office 24yr ago.. it was just that a office with few flowers on table.. Thankfully in August 2018 my h2b & I will be married in a much nicer room, Mayors chamber at munciple buildings, (at the new registry office. ) Its got a fire place & moldings on wall & ceilings solid wood doors with brass door knobs & in an older building.

Hi. My question post.
Want to know did it work out, cause heard not allowed to dress it with flowers. What about music?? U allowed them or not.
I was married before in a registry office, it's a smaller more intimate ceremony, which gives it a lovely feel, and not to mention that a lot of the registry offices are registered buildings and they are quite beautiful, especially when it comes to the photographs
