Why don’t you do a save the date? We sent our save the dates to our day guests in Feb (we get married June next year) and then we will send out the full invites around Feb next year! X

2-3 months is the standard etiquette. There's a thing now about Save the Date cards, but I personally don't see the point.

Ours is in April 2019, and a Friday too - We sent save the dates out in April and are thinking about doing the invites Nov/Dec of this year so we don't get forgotten over Xmas...xx

I’m getting married in a Friday as well, sent out save the dates 18months beforehand. Better to be prepared!

We're getting married September 2019 and sending out invited in the next couple of months.it gives people time to book hotels, and some are having to book flights so plenty of notice 😁

We are getting married in October 2019 as well! On a friday also! We are sending out our daytime save the dates within the next few weeks, and then our formal invitations day and night will most probably go out in the March / April of 2019.. xx

I’m getting married in August 2019 I’m sending out save the date next week, and main invitation in two waves one lot in jan, and the other in April. Giving three months to reply for the first lot, then if someone can’t come I can invite someone else in the second lot. It’s never to early in my opinion. Hope this helps x

I’m getting married July 2019. I’m sending my out in September/ October . Due to being on a Friday. People need to make sure they off. It’s summer holidays and we are having people fly in from Ireland. So depending on who’s coming are the coming far. Thing is you could always tell people the date to start making arrangements ready. Before the invite goes out.

I’d say about 6 months in advance, I’ll be sending both morning:evening invites out at the same time.
