Really struggling to work out when to cut the cake as we are having two venues. At our first venue the ceremony is at 2pm with a wedding breakfast at 4pm, we then take a coach to a hotel not too far where the evening party will take place at 7.30pm. Do I cut the cake at our first venue or the second?

i would do it after the wedding breakfast at the first then it’s a choice for pudding for guests

I would say the 2nd venue, if you have got the cake made for the entire number of people invited then you don’t want to waste money with them not getting any and the fact you would have to transport it to the second venue.

It depends if all your guests will be at first 1... if not then 2nd 1 would be better. Cutting cake is big photo opportunity.. & guests wont want to miss out on seeing it.

Do it when you want. But having it delivered & cut at second venue would be so much easier.

I would do it at the 2nd venue so everyone can see you cut it.
