My Fiancee has been let down by his best man. He told him that he cannot do it and to ask someone else. He didn't gave us a reason to why he couldn't do it. We were told that we don't need a best man but surely you do to arrange the stag night, keep the rings on the day and stuff?? Xx
I guess you don’t ‘need’ anything/anyone. Your fiancé could arrange his own stag (mine probably will) and anyone could look after the rings even though it’s traditional for the best man. A little ring bearer? Or something completely unique. Your fiancé only has to have a best man if he wants someone else
If you feel you need a best man just ask someone else. You don't need one though it's just traditional. Some people are choosing to have a best woman now so if he has a sister or close female relative or friend he could ask her.
