We have booked our photographer for £1300 and can add the video package which would also include a 2nd shooter for an extra £500 x

Hi! We made a decision part way through our planning to go for one as we thought we would regret it afterwards if we didn’t. We are paying £1195 which is a mid level package that films all the way from ceremony to first dance and it also includes a montage - hope this helps and good luck with your plans x

I got married in February and we couldn't afford to get a videographer so asked a friend to record it but since seeing the video he had done we instantly regretted not paying out for a professional. So if u can afford it I would definitely recommend getting one x

We were having these same doubts so i asked about. Best thing we ever did. 1000 for 8 hours with a drone. Take a look at my short video on fb.
Definitely worth it i watch it every day and relive the monents. Even if you havent got the budget i would try and ask someone to get the best bits xx

I think it was my best spend! Photos capture your day but a video brings it to life I would 1000% recommend it!

We're awaiting ours and I'm glad we did it. 3 and a half months after our wedding and I've already forgotten loads. Ours was an option with our photographer. Don't get me wrong our photos and video cost more than my dress, adjustments and accessories but they were worth every single penny. I would see if you could find a way to afford it x

I think if you can afford it then go for it. But don't break the bank over it as you will always have your pictures too look back on. A family friend filmed ours (with out me even realising lol!). I really do love looking at the video. But wouldn't of forked out for a professional videographer. Xx

I am SO relieved that we did not fork out for a videographer! The only thing we wanted filmed was our singing waiter so we bought a cheap tripod and positioned our camcorder in the room so that one of the staff at the venue could press record for us...we captured the whole thing! The ceremony did not go to plan and i ended up crying (from embarrassment/frustration more than anything) and I'm glad i never have to watch that back! Videographers are a lot of money and watching videos of yourself can be cringe...im glad we didnt bother although we did consider it!

My bridesmaids are buying us one as a gift because initially we didn't want one but one of my bridesmaids recently lost her mother and the few minutes of film she has of her mum has become more precious than any photos. She convinced us to let them get us one and actually it'll be nice to see what our guests get up to when we're not around! Something else I didn't think about is that we can send the footage to our family and friends abroad who couldn't come to the wedding. We decided to ask the videographer to focus on other people at the wedding instead of us!

We couldn't afford both a photographer and videographer so we went with the photographer.... Luckily my cousin also filmed the day and made us a 5 minute highlight video and I prefer it so much more than any of the photos. She did the video as a gift for us & it was so lovely!
My advice to myself looking back would have been pay for a videographer and save money on the photography by asking someone close to take a few photos throughout the day X

Everyone I spoke to either had one or regretted not having one, so we’ve booked one, very pleased. They are there all day and eve, and charge £595 for a highlights video or £895 for a full length one, we do not need to decide until after the wedding.. they threw in a free engagement video too.. hope this helps x

We have booked a videographer. It has cost £500. For me personally, it’s one of the most special days of your life. I would rather cut back elsewhere so that we can afford to have a treasured film forever x

We are paying £1050 for a premium 8 hour package which includes the ceremony in full, speeches in full, first dance and cake cutting too. And we get a 10 minute highlight video of the whole day. Everyone I’ve spoke to who didn’t have video say they regret it.

It was the first thing I booked! I even changed my choice of videographer mid planning as I decided it was the most important factor of the wedding and stumped up more money to get a more professional look

Alice Hearn

We've booked a videographer which includes 2 camera operatives for the full day costing us £995. It isn't cheap but so worried the day is going to fly by and I'm sure there's things from the day we would miss as well otherwise. We also got drone filming included in this price.

We had one for our day, and I have watched my highlight video over and over- more times than looking at photos- we had a three minute trailer and a video which is just over an hour long capturing the whole day!! Worth every single penny!! If you can afford to do it I would recommend it!! Have a look on line and watch some of the work they do to get an idea of what you would like!!

Here is the link to ours if you are interested to get an idea. It was captured perfectly and didn’t even really notice they were there!!
Good luck- hope your day is everything you wished for!!xx

I really want one, as think i'd regret otherwise, but struggling to find a photographer and videographer in my budgets....and dont want to cheap out on it, as otherwise not worth it.

Demi McGarry
Demi McGarry 18 Apr 2018

I think it's a great idea but we aren't having it. Don't want to force people to sit and watch it x
