Brides I need some help! I had my first fitting yesterday, all good, just a few little things and the dress will fit perfectly. Now the issue is, what jewellery to wear, I’m stuck! My dress is plain but with a sparkly belt, I thought I just needed earrings but now I’m getting opinions from my mum and different from the girls in the store How are you deciding what to wear on the day?

Go with what u want.. with that style i personally would wear a chocker & bracelet or just earrings, a longer necklace would draw attention to cleavage..

Beautiful dress, just plan a simple jewellery, don’t take away the eyes from the dress x

I wouldn’t wear anything around your neck as don’t think it’s needed.. I would go sparkly earrings and sparkly bracelet that would look stunning! Love your dress x

My dress was similar and I didn’t wear a necklace. Just wore sparkly earrings and no bracelets as didn’t want them to catch. Whatever you decide though will look beautiful! Xx

I would go with something simple like pearls. They won’t outdo your dress but will complement your beautiful skin 😃 you look absolutely gorgeous x

I think a short necklace and bracelet or long earrings and a bracelet, the dress is stunning btw!

I would probably wear a small necklace and small dangly earrings - like a matching set xx

If the shop sells jewellery too ask to try various styles see what suits you and what you feel comfortable with

No pearls. Don't mix pearls and sparkle. Plain sparkle earnings and I would put a hair peice instead of a necklace. You look beautiful xxx

I have a diamanté belt for my dress too so i am keeping jewellery minimal with just stud earrings. However, my shoes will have a diamanté buckle on and i will have diamonds in my hair! U xan always add jewels to your bouquet if u dont wantto wear too much jewellery.
Hope this helps? X

I wouldn’t go without any earrings. Nobody wants to see bare ears. https://www.notonthehighstreet.com/sarahhickeyjewellery/product/navy-quartz-long-hoops. Possibly a something blue

Wear what you want! I chose by trying out a few things & going with what I like & feel comfortable with. It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks, it's your day xx

I had a similar belt by the looks of it, sparkly jewellery to tie in with it. If I were you I’d do ratings but no necklace.

I would keep it simple and elegant to have the overall wow effect. I wore a simple necklace with a small diamond pendant on my wedding day with small diamond studs in my ears so the focus was on me not the jewellery but go with what feels right for you.

I had teal coloured stuff to match my colour scheme- my dress was quite plain so wanted something to lift it a bit but it was what I wanted. Everyone commented on it. It wasn’t loads of money and was hand made by a lady at a wedding fair. Dorothea Designs were amazing This is my hair band and things in my hair- I had a necklace and earrings to match! Have what you want- it’s your day!

Don't go choker - that will date awfully (just think, up until 2 years ago,,no one had worn onensince the 90's!!). I'd either go simple chain (but nothing too flashy and not too long as you have a beautiful neckline on that dress and don't want to overpower it) OR some delicate drop earrings (i wouldn't do both as gets too busy!!). I think pearls are probably not delicate enough for that neckline. Ultimately, try all 3 options on and see what suits! Gorgeous dress though and I think you look fab there with no jewellery!!

Ps. Agree a little silver bracelet could also look lovely! Just i'd go delicate accessories - less is more!
