I am curious as to how people got their guests to RSVP. I was up for a website and people using that to tell us their menu choices and if they were coming, but I am now having second thoughts and don't know if people will do that. Do I just get the guests to email an RSVP or use a website? HELP please!
I'm having RSVP cards made to send out with the invites also I'm printing out the menu and sending them out with them so they can reply that way. X
Send RSVP cards as part of your invites and they post it back to you
We are just rsvping my phone or email 🙂
We used survey monkey and had the web address on bottom of invite
as many ways as possible! Website is a good idea as you can put all extra information on there and it is easy for people to check back. Also adding an email is a good idea. Perhaps if you have older people attending cards are also a good idea
I just put my mobile number! X
I made cards enclosed an envelope if they wanted to do by post. Also put my Facebook, email and phone number so there was plenty of options, then put next to the name of when get something bk
If not replied by the date then there’s time to give to someone on the reserve list
I did mobile number and an email address. It worked great. People will still need to be chased, no matter how you do it.
We are using a website where people rsvp and pick menu choices. However we have also included mobile numbers and address for those who wish to rsvp with a card etc
I put mobile number on. Then the week before I messaged everyone just to check they were ok with the food etc.
Everyone has such busy lives these days it’s more convenient than getting them to post back the reply. Plus a putting in a stamped address envelope in all invites would cost quite a bit too x
We used a website. Have only had a couple of people who havent RSVP'd. We also put my mobile number so anyone who couldn't or didnt want to use the website could also call or text.
I've set up as special email that they can use to RSVP with their menu choices. Just so everything is together and doesn't get lost or mixed up with other random emails
We put a postcard in with our invites. It meant we didn’t have to pay for an envelope and a card too and people just popped a stamp on it and sent it back although I did still have to chase people close to the day, you’ll always have people that don’t rsvp but still expect you to know they’re coming x
Our day guests had rsvp cards where they could write their dietary requirements etc. Our evening guests were given a mobile number and email, although some have been sending rsvp cards, which are nice keepsakes
We used theknot.com and so far it’s been amazing, so much easier to rsvp then getting people to post it back or tracking it through text or email. For anyone who doesn’t use the internet (older relatives), you can rsvp for them! But means you can track rsvps at a glance using their app. I’d highly recommend x
Just get them to RSVP by a certain day. That's what I have done
We have loads of options
Or just tell us
And it’s still proving difficult 😂
Website with options for people who dont use internet. I was unsure but so pleased we did now
We used r.s.v.p cards and put them with a stamped addressed envelope. We also put a date on the cards , when we wanted them back by. If they didn't return them by that date, they were told they would not be included in the numbers.
We have a website where guests can RSVP and select menu choices. Seems very straight forward so far
We are going to use a website called rsvpify.. I think it will be a lot easier than post.. who sends things in the post these days? Save a tree :)
I used MailChimp to send out an email with a link for a form I made on MailChimp. Had to chase up a couple of people but mostly everyone managed it
Im doing a little card in a self addressed envelope with stamp and putting email, and other means of contact on there.
Im also going to put on the card a kind way of saying if you dont reply dont turn up sort of thing
We used a website (gettingmarried.co.uk) so we could put all the additional info on rather than ending up with the world's longest invite then gave mobile number and email address...everyone responded then!
We put cards inside the invites with somewhere to write good choices and a song for the dj..
But as well as our address, we gave people a personalised wedding email address that they could send a photo of the card to if they didn't want to post back? x
I'm including a card in the invite, plus a number and email address. I'm expecting to get more texts and emails than cards back.
I put phone number invites have been out a month got 2 text messages to say they are coming and we've got 110 guest get married in July x
Well you know we coming Donna Milner lol xx
