Looking for ideas on where too have the actual wedding as places like the village hotel n places like that I don’t like the food they have I’m really fussy with food
Where are you located? The wedding ceremony can be conducted in the registry office and then you can go anywhere you want for the reception which could offer the food you want. We asked for sample menus from the place we are going but then asked for something completely different and they are able to provide it. If you like a venue why not ask if they can cater to your tastes?
Could you not speak to the venues you like to see if there could be an alternative menu areanged xxxx
You could hire an event space and get outside caterers in. Even a marquee in a posh garden if you're thinking of summer. A lot of stately homes and National Trust gardens allow you to have weddings. Sometimes you're limited to their affiliated caterers, but not always, and there's probably more options than a hotel :)
I’m getting married. We are having a bbq as my partner is a fussy eater. So much easier and not so formal. Want him to enjoy his day and eat what he likes not to please others. It’s been well received by guests xx
We are having a hog roast, after registry office wedding..
Lots of places do afternoon tea now, if you like posh sandwiches and cakes
I am massively fussy with food, and always have been!!
The venue will cater for you and if they don't.... They aren't the right venue choice good luck and don't be afraid to tell them what you would like X
One of my friends got married at a place called the garden rooms in richmond north yorkshire I think and they went therr because of the food as the groom was a chef and fussy about food.
You can talk to venues and see if they can provide different options most should be able to cater to you after all they want the business
